The food here is good - We’ve been here many times starting from when they opened a few years ago. We love to show friends this spot as it’s a unique and cultured experience.

However obviously with any dine-in restaurant, there is more to the experience than the food. What I have to say after our visit last night, is that the service has seen a steady and serious decline.

We had a reservation for 7, and showed up right on time. We were seated by a gentlemen who didn’t seem happy we were there. He gave us warm water for the table and we were left there for 30 minutes without so much as a check-in. No drink order taken, nothing. At that time we went to go speak to the same waiter just to make sure our table hadn’t been forgotten. He was visibly annoyed and said someone would be by when they could. We then sat there and watched for another 15 minutes as people were seated after us, and served before us. So again we went to talk to the waiter, and he barked “there’s nothing I can do, it’s busy.” We had brought first time friends here to experience the food, and the service at this point had been embarrassing. Regardless, we waited another 10 minutes. At this point, it has surpassed 55 minutes and they haven’t even been by to take a drink order.

We had enough at that point so we left, no drinks, no food. Doubt we’ll be back. It’s unfortunate but the service needs to be addressed by management or more customers will be soon to...

The restaurant has a warm and cozy Ukrainian atmosphere that makes it a very pleasant place to spend time. From the moment you walk in, it feels welcoming and relaxed, with a nice interior that gives you a sense of tradition. It is not fancy, but it feels authentic, and that makes it special.

The food is definitely the main reason to visit. The bograch is very tasty, rich, and full of flavor, the kind of dish that makes you feel satisfied and comforted. The shashlyk is also excellent, juicy, smoky, and cooked just right. Portions are generous, and everything is served fresh and hot. It’s the kind of food that makes you want to come back again soon.

The service is another strong point. The staff are very friendly and polite, and they take the time to make sure everything is fine without being pushy. They create a nice and easy atmosphere that makes the whole experience more enjoyable.
