Decided to check out Fuji Lamb House with a group of 9, I called ahead to make reservation on the patio. They seem to get pretty busy out on their patio but noticed indoor dining wasn't as popular. So I recommend making a reservation if you're coming in a large group and looking for patio option.
This is my first time having Chinese style skewers, so I didn't really know what to expect. The skewers were delicious, however the seasoning is the same for all of the skewers, so after awhile they end up tasting the same just different meat and texture. It is a bit on the saltier end, so you'll be chugging water all night LOL!
The service was friendly, however they were a bit busy so it did take awhile to be served and for the food to come out. The place reminded me of what you see in china for outdoor food stands.
[What we ordered]: Lamb Skewers: Tender lamb skewers, this was an overall favourite for everyone.
Beef Skewers: Surprisingly very tender, as some beef skewers tend to be a bit on the try end. This was my personal favourite skewer, as I am not a huge fan of lamb.
Chicken Skewers: We ordered two type of chicken, however both was okay, I would just stick to Lamb and Beef next time.
Pork Belly: Delicious but after a few you're done. because it was too fatty for us.
Sausage Skewers: This was by far the worse skewer we had, it tasted like a longanisa to me, which is a filipino sausage thats typically on the sweet end, so this mixed with the spices just didn't seem right to me.
Quail Skewers: This was a little dry for my liking.
Cold Noodles: This was another fan favourite among the group
Enoki Mushroom: This was one of my favourite side dishes as it was packed with flavour - its on the spicy end though.
Sauteed Cabbage with chili: This has a mala spice to it, which I am not a fan of but my husband loves the mala spice flavour and was a huge fan of this dish.
Fried Rice: I don't remember what fried rice dish we ordered, but the fried rice was mediocre...

One of the highlights of Fuji Lamb is its diverse menu, featuring delicious options for every taste. The chicken popcorn is highly recommended—crispy, flavorful, and perfect as a starter. The fried rice is another must-try, cooked to perfection with just the right balance of flavors. We also tried the skewered fish and BBQ tentacles, both of which were tasty and well-seasoned. The pork belly was another standout dish, tender and rich in flavor, making it an excellent choice for meat lovers.

Read moreThis placed used to be our monthly gathering with friends for the past 5 years, we're had almost everything on the menu twice over. This review is just an update on how everything has changed since then. with the success of the restaurant, the owner's attitude has been getting worse towards customers, he will blatantly charge extra for stuff that you did not order. I even overheard him explaining to his waitress that if the customers don't notice it's ok to charge extra, especially for up-sizing an existing order. -since Covid19, EVERY dish has increased in price, decreased in quantity (-30%) and is served on cheap tiny Styrofoam plates that easily melt with the scalding hot food, not only carcinogenic but terrible for the environment since that's all they use. -Washroom was filthy with no hand-soap available, a roll of disgusting brown paper tower stands beside the sink, drenched in water from previous customers (your only means of drying your hands). Really makes you think what the kitchen looks like. -I saw the kitchen staff wipe their hands on the back of their jeans after using the washroom and occasionally wipe their sweat with their hands and go back to preparing food, which probably explains why our entire group had diarrhea...
