East Lynn Park — Attraction in Toronto

This park is situated in the Denforth eve Toronto. Medium size park and beautiful trees are surrounding like maple, and green grass attracts you, i visit this park in the starting of winter or fall season , very calm environment there. Having water fountain in the centre of park and its type of landscape park. Gaming objects for the children are available here for playing. Good place for picnic and for alone time. This one hectare park on Danforth Avenue has a picnic area, a wading pool and a children's playground. It features a farmer's market in the summer and a natural ice rink in the winter. Very busy park through Spring/Summer, hosts a weekly farmers market and music festival, and art festival. Unfortunately for such a busy and lively park in the community the city has not implemented the equivalent of funding this park is worth of. There is no washroom which is the FIRST thing everyone laments about, even though there is a small storage building structure which could be utilized. Instead everyone deficates behind this building and it reeks. Secondly, there is not enough seating options. There are one two picnic benches for the entire park which is crazy given how many people come here through the warm months. Could be a truly wonderful Toronto park if the city...

Terrific little local playground. Nice new play structures (as of 2017). Wonderful place to stop with toddlers and preschoolers if in the neighborhood. Free 1 hour street parking adjacent. But they ticket fiercely here. If you don't want a ticket and want to stay longer than an hour, proceed into the residential streets a little further away for multi-hour free parking. Wonderful hill for tobogganing in winter. Only downside is that there is no public toilets. About a 5 minute walk from Woodbine subway (longer if you have little ones). Great place to go after going to the awesome Kids Fun Town indoor play center @ Woodbine...
