Golden Wok — Restaurant in Toronto

Just left the Golden Wok after picking up dinner. I always order 2 cokes with our meals. When I got home I looked in the bags and no cokes . I went back and the hostess was VERY ride and suggested I forgot to order cokes . She refused to acknowledge her mistake. And basically said I should go elsewhere next time. The New owners are rude disrespectful and condencending. I will not be spending my hard earned dollars there ever again. And this is after going there 20 years or more. It's suprising how NEW OWNERS can really destroy a established business!!! Still have not been back. They lost a long time customer! !!! Ordered a simple Szechuan chicken with fried rice and wasn’t awful but I know they have made it better before. Rice didn’t taste the same and they cut the amount given. The service wasn’t bad or amazing just in the middle. Lady looks tired which is understood since it’s family owned business (has young child behind counter with her sometimes). All the chairs are removed, so there is no where to sit which I understand since there is a high school across the street that must cause some issues. Overall it was just mediocre and I expected more which I’m sure they are capable of. Would be beneficial if they could find another worker if possible. Furthermore I hope this restaurant improves for the next time I come back and becomes more passionate...

Very poor customer communication!!!! We are a large company, we placed an order over a week ago for New Years Day for our employee's working. They said they do deliveries on New Year's Day that's why we placed the order. I confirmed multiple times about this they ensured me they will deliver. I received a call today notifying me they cannot do deliveries and I asked to speak to the manager and the lady named "JESSICA" said NO and I said let me speak to someone in charge, again says NO and hung up the phone. Very poor communication skills and social etiquette. You just lost a lot of business and money. And I'm most certain your name was not Jessica!...If I had to pick I would NEVER give this restaurant a STAR! ..unfortunately had to give one just...
