I've been going to this location for over 7 years and it is in a great location for me as I live in the area. I've had a lot of problems at the start with my food orders and over time things got a little better. I have a simple order of egg white and chedder cheese on a English muffin. I order the same 2 sandwiches every day 7 days a week. They kept giving me the wrong egg or cheese or the English muffin wasn't toasted or they would burn it. I feel as a customer I have the right to tell them that my order is wrong as I spend a lot of money at Tim Horton's. Ive been dealing with this problem for years and never once called customer service and have been very patient with them for years. On Saturday August 4th I walked back to my car and took one of my sandwiches out and again they gave me the wrong egg. I walked back inside and just told them it was the wrong egg in one of my sandwich. I was speaking one of the managers and along comes the district manager behind the counter. She didn't even have a uniform on and she started saying that I want you out of my store know and never come back as I will have a trespass warrant on you. Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️ Busy location with good food, but service and store upkeep need work
This Tim Hortons on Renforth Drive is clearly a popular spot, but unfortunately, it doesn’t quite live up to what you’d expect from a high-traffic location. While the food and drinks are mostly on point — fresh and as expected — the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired.
On my recent visit, the service was extremely slow, which caused a long line to form and led to frustration among several customers. It seemed like the team was a bit overwhelmed or disorganized — there was some back and forth with orders, and while a couple of mistakes were made, they were at least corrected politely. Still, the pace and coordination definitely need improvement, especially during busy hours.
Aesthetically, the place is in serious need of an upgrade. The store feels dated and not particularly clean — floors were sticky, tables were messy, and the self-serve station (where you get napkins, straws, lids, etc.) felt more like a scavenger hunt than a convenient setup. Organizing these essentials in a more intuitive and tidy way would make a big difference.
Despite the chaos, the staff did try their best to fix issues, and the food was still decent. But with such high traffic, better cleanliness, more efficient workflow, and a bit of renovation would go a long way in transforming this into a much better customer experience.
There’s a lot of potential here — this could be a great community coffee spot if some real attention is given to service, organization, and...
Read moreI’ve been regularly coming to this Timmies since June 2023. The staff is always very friendly and competent however, the management of the restaurant when the kids from the school across the street goes on lunch from 11:30-1PM needs to improve. Staff seem consistently overwhelmed and unable to handle the extra orders flooding in. There have been about 5 occasions when I’ve ordered during the aforementioned peak hours where I’ve gotten the wrong order. While it’s not a big deal as the staff was always willing to correct the order, I do have to make 2 trips to the restaurant as opposed to the 1.
During non-peak hours, there also seems to be an issue where the staff does not pay attention to mobile orders coming in until I am waiting in person at the pick-up counter, at which point they would need to ask me what I ordered in order to then make the food, defeating the purpose of having placed a mobile order in the first place.
Food quality is inconsistent, perhaps also due to the above factors. I always order a latte and a breakfast item, sometimes the latte would be too strong and other times too weak. I’d assume that the amount of espresso put in a drink at a chain establishment should be standardized.
I’m writing this review because I genuinely wish to provide some feedback to the owner in hopes that operation may improve as a result. I would like to continue visiting this Timmies, however I may start going to the Burnhamthorpe location if I do not see an improvement in the next...
