What is going on there tonight? Staff are not answering the phone at all. A friend of mine went there before midnight and had a gift card with money still on it and the restaurant was not even open guests had to use the window to order and were not even allowed in. Since when is it a window and you can't go in and order it's a restaurant with chairs and tables. It's a wet very rainy night and not only did guests have to use a window to order then guests were told you would not accept cash or debit or anything and everything had to be ordered online. What kind of restaurant service is this? Then I try to order online from home and my order won't go through I try three different cards and it won't go through (I have photos but not putting them here), it accepted the gift card but would not process the order saying "Uh oh! There was a problem completing your order. Please try again or visit our restaurant if you are still having problems". Is that a bad joke. Go to the restaurant, we already did that and received the worst service a restaurant could possibly have not to mention a restaurant that did not even allow their guests to order from inside on a horrible rainy crappy night. I'm still owed for the gift card and I expect to be paid. The gift card also expired at midnight which was the whole reason for going there before midnight. Many many people were turned away and not being serviced tonight. Then no one is answering the phone. What fantastic customer service. A restaurant where people are soaked and not even helped and come away with no food. I would not recommend. Horrible and very frustrating experience. I just wanted to treat my friend to a burger and pay cash for whatever was left owed after using the gift card and your location couldn't even do that. I can't believe no one was answering the phone either I called twice just to make sure and not one person answered they just let it ring off the hook until it said enter a code. Why would we be a professional business and answer the phone? You are open until 2 AM someone should be...

I want this to me reviewed by the manager of the store. Few hours ago I placed an order with doordash, and had ordered 8 pieces of chicken nuggets, THAT WAS MY ENTIRE ORDER. The deliver man came by with the wrong item, fried pickles which one I'm allergic to, two it was not my order and three I had placed the order as I will be at work till midnight and cant leave my desk.

As frustrated with this I placed a complaint on the app which resolved the issue with a refund in 3-5 business days. I understand that doordash cant do anything about it but I wanted to talk to the store directly and mention this. Hence I placed a call asking to speak to a manger, idk who this girl was but she was talking in her native language with someone who was explaining everything that I was saying, so my question is are you guys even hiring people who can work? Her last response was we do not have any order under your name from doordash. I have proof of what food I got, what I ordered and when a customer calls to talk about an issue the workers are directed to say that "there is nothing like that".

This is has got to be the most unprofessional thing, not only do these people not know what to say but they don't even understand basic English, I hung up the call cause she was not helpful at all and said that I am wrong; like I have everything on the app and infront of my eyes what kind of customer service is this?

Please understand that the reason why I am frustrated is because I have to work till midnight and this was suppose to be my dinner, so I called in the store hoping that maybe they can tell me it was a mistake or apologize but instead this was the...

I recently had the pleasure of stopping in at Harvey's Restaurant located at the historic intersection of Jarvis and Gerrard Street in Toronto, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! This charming eatery not only serves up mouthwatering food but also boasts a significant location steeped in history.

From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the vibrant neighborhood. The menu offers a fantastic selection of fast food, but I couldn't resist trying their signature items. Each bite was a testament to the quality and care that goes into their cooking. The flavors were rich and satisfying, making it clear that the chefs are passionate about what they do.

The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were eager to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. It's evident that they value their customers and take pride in creating a memorable visit.

What makes Harvey's even more special is its location. Situated at a historical crossroads, it provides a unique backdrop that adds to the overall dining experience. After indulging in the delicious food, I took a moment to appreciate the rich history surrounding the area, making my visit not only a culinary delight but also a cultural one.

If you're in Toronto and craving a delicious meal in a historically rich setting, I highly recommend stopping by Harvey's at Jarvis and Gerrard Street. You won't be...

Waited 1 hour for this meal and most of the Time was spent trying to order online. I really was excited to try the pickle poutine, it only came with 3. Didn’t seem worth the money but tasted good. The second was a chicken bacon ranch poutine and that was pretty good and I was satisfied. Staff were weird, we went late at 11 pm and there is only a window, you can’t enter. We spent 40 min trying to pay online different ways and different cards for it to be continuously unsuccessful. We asked them to pay inside and they said no due to store policy. But after 40 mins and the problem is on their end seemed a bit unreasonable considering the location. They eventually did let us pay on spot. We also got a vanilla milkshake and that was pretty delicious.

Food was good. Poutine was packed and not cheap on fries which was good. Chicken strips actually tasted like and had the texture of real chicken. The two ladies working the food prep had a mask and gloves on which was good. The cashier doesn't have a mask and only one glove on which is okay for dealing with payments. However sometimes he helps with the burgers with the one glove and still touches the inner wrapping with the bare hand which isn't sanitary especially during the covid pandemic. He should be touching the food area at all without both gloves or face mask.
