The Image Centre in Toronto offered a truly immersive and breathtaking experience with Michael Benson's "Planetfall" exhibition. Stepping into the darkened gallery felt like entering a portal to the cosmos, as Benson's meticulously crafted, large-format images of planets and celestial bodies unfolded before me.

The best place for photography, collections and exhibitions in the area. Exhibitions and curated tours are top notch, best of the best ti will ever see. This is a must for professional photographers and photography, art lovers in general, locals and travellers. Highly recommended!

Taking the Photography certificate at Ryerson is the best decision you can make if you want to take your photography to the next level. With great studio space and equipment, you'll be able to sharpen your skills as a photographer and begin to think about becoming a pro.

In a nutshell, there was basically next to nothing to see. It was a 5-10 minute visit at best.

The current exhibits are not all that meaningful, which is not something I can blame the gallery for, but what I can advise is that anyone hoping to visit should wait for these exhibits to cycle out before doing so.

Luckily, the gallery is free to browse, so you can stop by without any real loss if you're already passing...

Recommended for photography enthusiasts. The main gallery offers and open space with atrium. The lobby is a great mix for students and public access. The side galleries are small but offer a glimpse into the works of Ryerson students and alumni.

Admission is free and there are guided tours. The staff is friendly. At times you may be required to check your bag.

Good way to spend a few hours of...

Worth seeking out -- it's a respite from the hubbub of Yonge/Dundas Square and is the heart of the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival each spring. Also keep your eyes open for images displayed in public view on nearby buildings and objects, including the large rocks in Devonian Lake [a.k.a. Lake Devo] next door. Note that visits may be possible on Tuesday -- by appointment, so contact the...
