Hello fresh has a good selection of weekly meals for a decent price. I’ve reviewed all of the companies available to Ontario meal kit companies and Hello Fresh and Chef Cook it out of Quebec are by far superior to others available. Chef cook it however offers many more rewards for being a valued customer and free shipping. Every 4 boxes you order at Cook it you receive a substantial reward discounts like 25 bucks off, a free box every 10 boxes etc. Hello fresh while they have excellent customer service only send discounts when there are issues with your ingredients or if you can get others to try their boxes. I’ve sent many FREE boxes out but honestly their deal online is much better so why would anyone use my discount? One week I accidentally ordered two boxes and they reimbursed me for one. I took it around my neighbourhood and handed out free meals. Thankyou for that Hello Fresh. Love the NEW packing material for their boxes. My meats are always fresh now and ice packs frozen. The portion sizes are decent for the price and the selection of meals is good. My kids would like larger meat portions without paying extra. Hello fresh needs to update their side vegetables offered as there is ALOT of zucchini sent weekly. Would like to see a greater variety of fresh vegetables and more seasonal vegetables used. Liked the corn on the cob sent except they sent two cobs for 4 people. WHO EATS HALF A COB? The meals are pretty easy to prepare and my girlfriend enjoys cooking them when she visits. My family was tired of the same 5 meals and now they look forward to dinner at night. My husband doesn’t grocery shop anymore. Has saved time in our family. For these reasons I’ll keep using hello fresh. Just wish they valued their customers more since we’ve been avid fans and promote them often. If their prices go up I would stop using them. At 194.00 a week for 5 meals at 4 portions it’s good value but that’s as high as I would pay. I have tried them all Hello Fresh and Chef Cook It by far superior. We use hello fresh the most between the two as my kids do not always appreciate the unique menu choices of Cook it. All in all… Value 4, Menu Selection 4, Portion sizes 4, Vegetable Selection 2, Shipping Fees 2, Customer Service 5, Customer Appreciation and Rewards 1, Freshness 3.5, Overall Satisfaction 3.5

I love the concept. I love the meals so far. But after I sat and reviewed the financial portion of this I seen it was way more money to buy this each week. Then I noticed I was being charged for the so called free for life breakfast. $80 a week for 3 meals is way more then I would spend at the grocery store. And with that I get snacks and drinks. Not just 3 meals for 7 days. Then being charged extra for other meals is ridiculous and then even more if we want to order thanksgiving meals or some holiday dinner. Then extra for the desert and so on. So many extras is what caused me to cancel. Then I get my orders and I'm not given enough food for 2 people yet I paid for 2 servings per meal. We starved last night because there was not enough food. Portions seem to be smaller the. Before. I'm always getting a email or mail flyers offering me free meals but never have I ever got a free thing. I paid for everything. I went to do my order for next week And seen I was being lied to free breakfast when I choose which product I wanted then when I went to confirm the order there it was $4.99 for thst free breakfast. Which I was making sure i didn't do something wrong so I closer down the app and did it over and nope I was forwarded to the section showed $0.00 then when I went to see my total amount I was charged for this fee item.

I've been using HelloFresh for about a year, and I think it could not be a more perfect service.* It's not only because of how much time and money they save you. They do the menial and tedious work for you, like chopping onions and grating garlic, but they let you make most sauces yourself to avoid the chemicals and preservatives that make these sauces so conventionally unhealthy. Their meat always comes properly sealed and arranged in a manner conducive to faster de-frosting. I don’t recall ever experiencing an issue with a missing ingredient. On the contrary, something unexpected is occasionally in the box. They may treat you with a little gift with your order, like a free trial of a streaming service. Their recipes are always delicious - even the most seemingly inane flavour combinations. In fact, they’ve opened my mind to an infinite realm of possibilities in cooking. Their website is easy to use and provides flexible rescheduling options without ever being buggy or confusing. *unless they offered singles options, e.g., splitting their existing 2-serving meals into two separately-packaged batches (for lunch and dinner)

HelloFresh Weekly meal kits delivered. Don't have to think about what to eat for lunch/ dinner anymore and worry about going to the groceries and overspend going over the budget. Definitely observed less food waste since ingredients are well portioned per recipe. Save on gas. Save on time. Save on money> discounts right now to subscribe. Delicious recipes! 😋 Highly recommended. Note: You need to master how to manage Hello Fresh online in choosing the weekly meal recipes, otherwise the auto-generated chef picks will automatically choose the meals for you. It took awhile to learn, but once you know it will be a breeze and make sure you take advantage of the weekly discounts upon signing up to get the best 👌 meals for your family. I notice the negative reviews posted here by customers and on FB is mainly that issue. If you don't take the TIME TO LEARN THE WEBSITE ORDERING PROCESS, then definitely you will never get the best meal kits that you want. That's my advice.

My experience with Hello Fresh was abysmal, and I am compelled to relay the details to prevent others from enduring similar distress. Upon receiving my order, I discovered a disconcerting leakage of beef juices permeating the entirety of the package. Each bag contained within was saturated with this unsavory liquid, rendering the contents repulsively unpalatable. Contacting customer support yielded scant empathy or concern for the egregious quality lapse I had encountered. Their indifferent response only served to exacerbate my frustration, revealing a corporate ethos more attuned to profit margins than customer satisfaction. Their offer of a meager $13 discount on a future purchase felt not only inadequate but also patronizing in the face of the $139 worth of product rendered unusable. Hello Fresh's corporate values appear to prioritize fiscal gains over the well-being of their clientele, and their products, by extension, reflect a lamentable lack of quality.

See edit: Not bad if you are short on personal time. Great not having to run to the grocery store as it gets shipped in a box with 6-8 ice packs. Portions are a bit small if you are active, definitely portioned for not active people as I eat 2 portions to myself for dinner of most meals, some I get a small lunch left over and I am no big guy either. Recipe's have been pretty good and quite a selection to choose from. It is however quite expensive without the deal and discount. Pics are all meals I cooked. Edit: Cancelled subscription fter incident with missing ingredient. They credited me for $6.85 for the value of missing product but can only be used on non discounted boxes. I now have to go buy meat to use so the rest of it can still be used that was not credited for. Only 3rd order and already unhappy so just going to do groceries since this company is not reliable enough that I don't have to go there.
