2pm on a Saturday and ya girl had an empty belly. While the siren song of pizza called my name, it felt a mite too early in the day to feel like a human trash bag so I sought out something healthier.
I'm already bought in on the ethos of reducing food waste, but now having tried the food, I'm a full on fan. First of all, the young person who served me (and I'm at the age where anyone under 30 is young) was very kind and let me know that you can have more than one base for your build your own bowl (hello sweet potato noods AND roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes and broccoli). I chose lemongrass tofu as my protein. The unlimited toppings don't fart around. Yes, you got your cukes, corn, onion and tomatoes, but you also got extra fancy pickled carrot and daikon, edamame, and crispy fried onions, oh hell yeah! Fabulous sauces too: I had a lil satay peanut as well as a carrot ginger.
And the portions, dang! I got the "regular" and I have enough for another meal. Total cost? $16.50. In this economy??? They also have some good daily deals.
My fellow human trash bags, save your imperfect body for one more day and try...

I tried a bit of the sauce and it was fizzy so I put the lid back onto the container loosely with the intent of throwing it out after dinner. When I came back to the counter a bit later, a whole bunch of the sauce had oozed out of the container.
They forgot to add the charred broccoli to the tofu bowl.
The forgotten broccoli isn't a big deal but I'm more worried about the carrot sauce potentially making...
Read moreImperfect is always my go-to Salad place. It's quite difficult to find such a store where they bring their passion into the food like this Imperfect location. Even though, I wasn't really into vegetables but here they provided variety of choices for whoever you're either meat person or vegetarian. The food they strike was all about helping you adapt more healthy lifestyle and enjoy your vegetable. I'd highly recommend this location to all of my friends. The service they provide was outstanding, and not to mention the staffs were super nice and friendly. That not Imperfect, the name was way too humble!!! Why don't you call I am perfect. You store is amazing. Keep up the good work, you guys. That's such a good business this...
