Went this morning to this beautiful shop for coffee and lunch-to-go-for-later. Wow... the coffee Americano was great of taste, the cup it was in was not smelling like plastic and I treated myself to a delicious chocolate chip cookie; not too salty, not too sweet, just perfect. For lunch, I just finished and massively enjoyed the HLT and the Brie+Applecompote sandwiches (which I shared with my husband). The surprising ingredients of both sandwiches are in the right proportions and that makes them very satisfying, but most of all: very delicious! Especially the brie one; definitely try that one, you'll love it. It is definitely worth a wait - I'll certainly be coming back for more! Oh, and all served with a big smile in the eyes a very very pleasant experience, and a win for Eglinton West! Ps:reposted my original review from old account ...

I visited on Nov. 18, 2021 at around 2:00 pm. Made in house pastries and baked items were amazing. Some real talent there. I would have liked to see scones, muffins and bagels. I didn't enjoy my black coffee. Likely the kind of coffee that might be better in a latte. I think they should consider organic coffee and flavoured coffee. I dined in and had to show proof of vaccination and ID. I felt like a guest with how everything was served and the saucer and cup (all ceramic) were beautiful. I had the HLT (ham) but I would suggest to the owners offering TLT (turkey) instead as some people either hate or like ham but most people like turkey. I had this to go and it was beautifully wrapped. Menu was hard to read (glare, size, organization). I didn't see any kids drinks or food for kids besides the pastries...

the cafe has a very chill vibe, would be a good place for studying, have free wifi. Me and my friend stopped by this cafe just to chill and ordered a hojicha latte + hot chocolate + blueberry toast. Hojicha latte was pretty good, the hot chocolate was a little milky (according to my friend) but it was still smooth and really liked the drawings on top, the blueberry toast I expected to be a little more but turns out it was just a regular toast with blueberry on top (could easily make one at home). Services were great, staffs were smiling a lot! I would be down to try their pastries on their order counter at my next visit as they look so...

Isle of Coffee is a phenomenal coffee shop, that is outstanding in all regards - coffee, treats, and service. The owner is incredibly kind, and creates such a warm and welcoming environment. The desserts and treats are always fresh, and delicious. Every so often, they do add a unique seasonal dessert to their rotation. I also appreciate that they offer (multiple!) options for those with alternative diets (gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free). This is a great café in which to have a chat with friends, or, if you go to their downstairs seating area, get some work done. Highly recommended!

Went there and tried their matcha madeleine as well as their lemon bear. Both were good. Really nice and soft and fresh with good flavor. I liked the crispy outside. They had a lot of different madeleine flavors as well as other treats. I found it weird that there were no prices shown for the snacks and you had to ask. Otherwise, it's a cute coffee place with some seating tables on the main floor and downstairs as well. They have a washroom downstairs.
