Bought a twin and a single burger from Burger Bros Etobicoke for take out. After reading the reviews of this place, I was excited to eat the burgers that I got. Unfortunately, that excitement was short lived.
The pros of this place was that the burgers were made quickly. In less than 15 minutes, my burgers we ready for pick up. The burgers are huge and filling. It would be hard to not to feel full after having one of their burgers. The patties are fresh and are of good size.
The cons of this place was the burger and the service. For me personally, I found the sauce they used to be to overpowering. It is too spicy and strong for their burger. I cannot taste the freshness of the beef or the other toppings put in the burger. The patty is not put together well. It keeps breaking apart and falling out of the burger.
The service here was lackluster. When I went to pick it up, the employees were not so friendly. There was barely any greeting and got my ordered handed to me. Got told this is for me and they left to go back to their conversation they were having before I arrived. Not expecting over the top service at a burger joint, but some sort of interaction to make sure it contained the correct burgers or a greeting would have been appreciated. I didn't understand why the top of the bag was tapped with scotch tape until I opened it up and saw it was because the box the burger was in couldn't be closed. It would have been great if I could have asked the employees why they taped it as it was my first time there.
Not entirely sure that I would be keen to come back and try their burgers again. Hopefully, it was just an off...

Read moreOther reviews had mentioned the chicken sandwiches, so I went in and gave them a try.
Got the Bro-B-Q sandwich with some loaded fries. The sandwich was ok, bun tasted like something store bought, and the chicken had no crispiness to the breading. Taste wise it was ok, not bad but could be better.
The loaded fries were absolutely packed to the brim with their cheese sauce, so I gotta give them some credit there. The box must have weighed at least 3 pounds. Naturally it also had beef bacon and jalapeños on the one we ordered. Flavour wise it was decent, I think it was a bit light on the seasoning but overall ok. The fries had no crispiness to them whatsoever, probably because of the absolute drenching in cheese sauce, so there’s a bit of give and take there.
The one thing I’ll say about the service is that it took about 20 minutes for them to bring the food out. I have a feeling that they made it and had it sitting around for a little while, but that’s just speculating there.
Overall the place is alright, but if you do happen to be looking for a really good chicken sandwich, maybe...
