Jimmy The Greek — Restaurant in Toronto

I am extremely disappointed and concerned with my recent order. I received undercooked, unsafe chicken, as clearly shown in the attached photo the meat was visibly pink, undercooked, and absolutely unfit for consumption. Shortly after eating it, I became severely ill and experienced intense stomach pain and nausea. I trusted the platform to deliver safe, properly cooked food — this was not only a quality issue but a serious food safety hazard that put my health at risk. I had no one to assist me while I was sick, and yet my refund was denied despite clear evidence of the restaurant’s negligence. This experience has been distressing and unacceptable. I am requesting Uber to urgently review this situation again, as this poses a significant health risk to customers and reflects a failure in food safety standards. This is by far the worst Jimmy the Greek I have ever been to, and I’ve been to many locations (Bramalea, Vaughan Mills, Yorkdale, Sherway Gardens — all of which are excellent). The Woodbine Mall location is absolutely disgusting.

The chicken was rotten, yellow, and clearly not fresh. The rice tasted old — like it had been sitting for a day or two. Even the salad toppings were spoiled; the tomatoes were soft and rotten. I couldn’t even finish half my meal, and my husband had to throw it in the garbage.

It’s now day two and I am still sick to my stomach with diarrhea from this food. This location is cutting corners, reusing food from previous days, and it is dangerous. Serving food like this can seriously harm someone.

This place either needs to fix their standards immediately or be shut down. Do yourself a favor and avoid...

I would give 0 stars if I could. I was ignored while standing at the counter, even after calling out to the man in front of me—he deliberately turned his back as I approached. When I walked away, a white customer stepped up and was immediately served by the same man who had just ignored me. I can’t help but feel my race played a role in this encounter, especially since this is not the first time I’ve experienced something similar at this location.
