I was pleasantly surprised by this small unassuming sushi shop. The menu is a little dated but everything you would expect is available. Don't let looks decieve you, this place puts care into their food.

The sushi is fresh and not overly chewy, the seaweed breaks apart without chewing like it should, and you can clearly taste the fish which isn't overshadowed by other toppings.

The bubble tea is great, not overly sweet, and comes with just the right amount of ice to keep it cold. Some of the pearls were slightly undercooked in the middle but that's hardly noticable.

Comes served with a generous amount of wasabi and ginger, as well as packets of soy sauce.

Overall i would say it's good, there are certainly more fancy and high end sushi shops downtown but if your just looking for good sushi this...

Gave this place another chance after a bad experience last time. I thought the service was fine, but as others have said, the miso soup tasted like water. Either they forgot to stir the miso soup, or they are adding too much water. The sashimi was really thin, more like what you would put on top of nigiri than actual sashimi, and something tasted slightly off about the salmon. The avocado was old, and the seaweed salad had a syrupy sweet coating. I normally don't mind when sushi isn't amazing, as long as it's good; but this wasn't even good.

There are places in the area with comparable prices that give you very good sushi. I recommend Ichiban (at Ellesmere and Victoria Park), Kibo (at Kennedy and Sheppard), Umami House (Sheppard and Brian Drive), or Gonoe (at Don Mills and...

I found Mika sushi on Uber Eats and thought I would give it a try. Their prices were quite good and I liked the variety of choices in their combos. I got the combo PC 10 (8 pieces black dragon roll, 4 pieces spicy salmon and 4 pieces California roll), and the “choose 1 of any kind” roll (8pieces). The combo PC10 came with miso soup and a tiny container of seaweed salad. I was pretty disappointed with how small the salad was (same container that’s used for a small soy sauce). Aside from the size, the seaweed salad was mediocre. The rolls were all just okay. I also called ahead to ask if they could substitute tempura sauce instead of soy sauce, and was pretty shocked to be told they don’t have any. All in all, considering I paid a total of $33, I would probably give it a...

Honestly, I’ve been here about 4 times in the last 2 months and I can’t get enough! They have an entire vegan sushi menu complete with a bunch of vegan appetizers including a fried “chick’n” item, they’re so good! I get the 32 piece platter all the time because you can choose whatever types of sushi. Again, they have a full vegan menu, my top favs are the okra sushi and the California roll, yum! When I first visited, the cashier let us sit down and she was so sweet. She even got us sharing plates, water and checked up on us to see how we liked the food. Seating is limited, but this is more like a grab and go spot, so I don’t mind it. 10/10 for everything! I can’t wait to visit again soon! DELICIOUS!

Did not enjoy our meal unfortunately.. half of the sushi is just cucumber, as you can see in the pictures. Got the fire roll, dynamite roll and chicken dynamite roll. Would not order again In response to the manager’s comment: My issue was not that there was cucumber in the sushi rolls but the amount of cucumber, when compared to the other ingredients. Also, I cannot tell the composition of the rolls when looking at pictures.. sometimes there is sauce on top, sometimes it’s the angle - I took a chance because I was a first-time customer. This review was not to bash your product but it was so other customers would be aware before purchasing. I wish you the best with your business.
