KFC — Restaurant in Toronto

I recently visited the KFC located in Scarborough for a dine-in experience with my family and friends, and unfortunately, our visit left much to be desired. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was lacking.

The first impression was set by the tired and sleepy appearance of the staff member at the counter. It was disheartening to see someone who seemed so exhausted and unenthusiastic about their work. Furthermore, the lack of available staff members made it difficult to seek assistance or address any concerns we had during our visit.

As we settled down and observed our surroundings, it became apparent that the maintenance of the restaurant was subpar. The cleanliness of the place was not up to standard, with visible signs of neglect. This gave the impression that the management did not prioritize the upkeep of the establishment, which negatively affected the overall ambiance.

The biggest letdown, however, was the significant delay in receiving our food after placing our order. It seemed as though the kitchen was understaffed or experiencing other issues, as the wait time far exceeded what is normally expected at a fast-food restaurant. This delay not only tested our patience but also disrupted the flow of our dining experience.

Overall, our visit to KFC Scarborough was marred by a tired-looking and unresponsive staff, inadequate maintenance, and an excessively long wait time for our food. It is unfortunate that the experience did not live up to our expectations, as we had hoped for an enjoyable gathering with loved ones. We sincerely hope that the management takes note of these concerns and makes improvements to enhance the overall customer experience...

Issue 1: Requested food be delivered for 6 PM, it arrived at 5:15. Driver said he would come back with fresh food, but it was the same food (assuming as it was cold). I asked him if it was new and he said yes.

Issue 2: When I unpacked everything, it was missing 2 items, potato and macaroni salad. I called store 1325 and they said they did not receive my order and that it was delivered by another location. I called the other location nearby and they said they did not deliver. I had to call location 1325 again and they confirmed the order and said that I must be mistaken and that I have it. After being firm stating I did not, they agreed to send the items back over.

Issue 3: When I told them that when I called 10 minutes before, they stated my order was not from there, they then stated that I was lying and that they did not (it was a different employee than the one I spoke to, a male vs female). I requested a discount coupon or something for all this inconvenience, and she immediately dismissed this, stating they were sending the salads, so why would I want more.

I wont be going to any of these locations, nor recommending them to anyone.

This location opened recently and was previously near Kingston and St. Clair. The service at their original location was just as terrible as...

I would like to inform you of a situation that I witnessed this evening at approximately 8pm. (Friday January 14, 2022) A person had requested something specific in their order and upon checking the order to ensure it’s accuracy, discovered that it was incorrect. They requested KFC staff correct the order. In doing so, both this costumer and myself witnessed the staff put the chicken back on the rack with all the other chicken ( where it had originally come from). We both had to shout to alert the staff not to do this. They ignored us…but, eventually a staff came over and said “you shouldn’t have touched the chicken so we can put it back.” To which I replied “you should NEVER return food that’s been served back to be redistributed.” … so I called the manager over to tell her that the whole tray of chicken now had been contaminated and needed to be thrown out. She didn’t want to do this but after both of us telling her the same thing, she assured us that the chicken had been thrown out. I also mentioned that the tongs should be switched to clean ones. I honestly don’t know if the chicken actually got thrown out, nor do I know if the tongs were cleaned...
