I got a 9-10 piece salmon lover roll ($15) and a 6 piece salmon maki ($7), while my friend got a fish karagge ($22) that came with miso, salad, and rice.

The food was amazing!! By far one of the better sushi places I've been to. I ate my roll so quickly that I ordered a smaller maki. The salmon was super fresh, pretty large sized, and quickly prepared. I think what shocked me was how large their maki was, as it is larger and higher quality than the sushi I've gotten for similar prices. I wish I had taken a picture of it once it arrived later. Had I known that their maki was such great value and quality, I would've ordered two instead of a larger roll since I prefer more traditional sushi anyways. Their soy sauce was also amazing, and not too salty.

The restaurant was empty when we went, so it was super nice and quiet! The ambiance of the lighting was amazing, and the decorations were also super cute. We had matching tea cups and soy sauce holders, a tiny candle, and even baby's breath in a mini pot. My friend and I sat next to a hanging cork board full of cute postcards, stickers, and artworks. The entire restaurant felt cozy and thoughtfully decorated.

Overall I highly recommend!! Can't wait to b...

Amazing Sushi Experience!

I had the pleasure of visiting this sushi restaurant today with Stella my friend, and we were absolutely impressed! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire experience.

The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. We tried a variety of rolls, and each one was bursting with flavor. The standout for me was the [mention your favorite roll or dish], which was simply delicious. The portions were generous, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out.

What I appreciated the most was the attention to detail and the creativity in each dish. You can tell the chefs put a lot of passion into their work.

I highly recommend this place to any sushi lover. It’s definitely worth a visit, and I can’t wait to go back and try more from...

I saw this restaurant had a 5 star review so we had to check it out. WOW! So well deserved. First and foremost the service is SO friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean with a cute little outdoor patio we will check out next time (it was a stormy night). We started with the tempura assortment and miso soup which were delicious. Tried the lobster roll, so very yummy. We also had a Green Dragon roll which, like the lobster roll, was super fresh tasting and delicious. Asahi served here and the cold sake is served with a chilled shot glass. Lovely atmosphere, can’t wait to return as there are so many interesting menu selections we still want to try. Great neighborhood restaurant just off the 510 streetcar at Harbord. Thanks so much for your great...

I've eaten at Kokoro for takeout and dine-in and the food has been consistently delicious. The fish and vegetables are extremely fresh. We had a spicy scallop maki roll and the ratio of ingredients was perfect, keeping taste and texture in mind. The sushi was arranged so beautifully and had a delicate butterfly cut out of carrot slices. It was so pretty! The service is quick and warm. The atmosphere at the restaurant was really lovely. The music, the low lighting, made up a very chill environment to have a casual conversation. Kokoro's prices are fair and really well suited for university students and/or anyone nearby looking for a delicious lunch or dinner!
