We tried out both the new dairy Cafe - CHAI CAFE - and the new meat restaurant next door named KOSH. Both were delicious, clean, new, tasty and had great service. Delicious menu items with some typical and some different! We went two separate times, but pics are a mix of both times. Highly recommend! Parking was harder bc of the snow but we found street parking easily. Note that they are under the hashgacha of Chabad of Midtown, not COR. All dairy was cholov yisroel, all vegetables checked, etc.

Really glad I found this spot. It’s got a cool, fresh vibe and the food is legit tasty — solid Middle Eastern flavours, and everything was super fresh. All kosher and non-dairy, which worked great for our group. Prices were actually reasonable too, which is rare these days. We’ve ordered Arais and Shnitzel. Definitely a nice addition to the midtown scene — I’ll be back for sure!

We were invited to the pre-launch of the new kosher resturant(s) Kosh Chai on St Clair last night ahead of the opening. Here is what we had (a sample of the menu) and my thoughts. Highly recommend the restaurant (if you’re kosher or not). Always excited to support a new locally owned and operated restaurant in the neighbourhood. Can’t wait to be back soon.

We had a wonderful meal here with three adults and one infant, and every dish was outstanding. We ordered a mix of appetizers and mains — Beef Cigars, Arrays, Sweet Potato Medallions, and Flame-Grilled Chicken with Summer Slaw Salad — and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The XL Schnitzel was a real highlight, generously portioned and perfectly crisp, while the Kids Fingers and Fries were just right for the little one.

To drink, we tried the Minty Margarita and the Limonana — both refreshing and balanced, pairing nicely with the food. The entire meal felt like an elevated take on traditional kosher cooking, prepared with care and authenticity.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for both families and groups of friends. Highly recommend for anyone looking for hearty, delicious kosher dining.

The servers were very attentive, providing fresh plates whenever we as asked, and helping whenever our infant dropped napkins or cutlery...

Loved our first taste of Kosh! Started with the summer salad made with grilled peaches and corn off the cob -- it was so fresh and tasty. Moved onto the burger -- topped with glazed pineapple and a strip or two of corned beef -- which was so flavourful and delicious, paired with crispy French fries and a side salad. We also tried the schnitzel dinner, which was prepared to perfection.

The space is bright and the reception was warm. I'm excited to return and sample more of the menu. Also, now I need to try their sister spot -- Chai Cafe.

All in all,...
