Disappointed given the number of five star ratings this place had. I don’t even usually leave reviews but felt it was warranted. The sushi was ok. Too much Mayo in the spicy Mayo sauce in my opinion so I won’t be ordering sushi again. My personal preference is a spicy salmon that is not overpowered by Mayo. But the most disappointing thing about my order is that we ordered a salmon teriyaki dinner for my 3 year old son. The amount of salmon was so little and not even a nice cut of the salmon. He ate it all up and was still hungry after. Also the description said the salmon came with vegetables, aside for 3 tiny pieces of broccoli (it’s a stretch to even call them pieces) it was all sprouts. Look at the photo, unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of the full order before my husband dished the food out but if a toddler is still looking for more vegetables to eat, that says a lot about how much vegetables there were. And how little food it was. Also the salad came with no dressing, just some head lettuce and 3 strings of carrot. This was also an order on Valentine’s Day so I imagine the restaurant was busy. But even more so if I was sentimental about a nice Valentine’s Day dinner I would’ve been even more disappointed. The maki was not terrible which is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. I don’t usually leave such strong reviews so this...

An absolute delight. The creative combination of flavours are outstanding! Just be aware that if you order one of their specialty rolls such as "under the sea" you will experience an explosion of flavours, and a full meal!šŸ˜€šŸ‘

On my next visit, tried the Fantastic Roll, it was Superb! The tempura yam is made with purple yam, a nice rich variation on the norm. I was provided some tomato avocado sushi to try; the tomato looked like a piece of tuna (it was marinated in spiced soya), topped with a crescent of fresh avocado. It was unique, delicious and a delight to look at!

June 7 - went with my son for my birthday. I was introduced to a new sushi - spicy tuna with cream cheese, spice sauce, tobiko and garlic mayo.... Yum!

Aug 4 - returned with my family today for a wonderful Sunday dinner. Again , the service was spectacular and the food was outstanding. Of particular interest was the Crazy Rabit roll - crab, sweet potato, egg, eel, and spices wrapped in cucumber instead of rice! Low carb AND delishious.😃

Oct 6th - Chef Kevin introduced me to his new pressed sushi roll. Pressed rice with crab topped with seared salmon, dressed with wasabi salad dressing. The sushi has the inspired touch of celery and onion hidden below the toppings, a creative touch which transforms the dish beyond the norm....

Awesome service and food. Highly recommend. They're friendly, courteous and are well deserving of all the business we can give them. They are privately owned, not a franchise, and have never disappointed, ever. I felt so bad for them over Christmas, I got there just as another group was picking up their food. Their tab came to $130 something. Their change was $3.85. Do you know they took their change?! They already saved 20% by paying cash and even asked for a bunch of extra bags and condiments and still have the audacity to take the $3.85 back! Please people, let's tip our businesses that have been there for us. If you haven't tried this little hidden gem, you need to! You...

I bought food from here twice, both times I ordered take out udon. Since I had to walk 10 minutes from the restaurant back home, the noodles were soggy in the 1st time. So this time I told the staff that I wanted the noodles and the soup separate. The restaurant did separate the noodles but put all the other ingredients in the soup, and look at that brown stuff (I don't know what it's called) that absorbed all the water and now this soup will definitely not be enough for me to enjoy the udon. Honestly, the food is quite delicious to my taste, but the restaurant needs to seriously train on customer care and communication to provide better service!
