La Ciel was such a disaster from start to finish that I can’t stay quiet. If this place is calling itself “fine dining,” someone needs to revisit the definition because what we experienced was anything but that.

Towards the end of our meal, the waitress brought out dessert — but instead of clearing the table like any restaurant would, she placed the dessert down right in the middle of all our dirty plates. To make it worse, the dessert was dripping water which she spilled all over the table & on us as she dropped it. She didn’t offer to clean it up, didn’t come back to check in, and didn’t seem to care at all. Her only contribution was asking, “Do you want napkins?” as if it was our job to clean her mess.

The food was no better. After a long wait, we were served bland, flavorless dishes. The chicken was especially bad — seasoning was off, and just thrown on the plate without thought. It’s hard to believe any chef tasted what was going out of that kitchen.

As if the food and service weren’t enough, the overall environment was completely off-putting. The patio & dome smelled horrible … I don’t know if they clean it at all, but it was bad enough to make you question the hygiene of the entire place. Inside, it was chaotic and unprofessional. People were clearly drunk, roaming around, and it felt like most of the guests were friends of the staff. One of the waitresses was even seen making out with a customer in front of the bathroom. That’s not just uncomfortable it’s downright unhygienic.

When I brought all of this to the manager’s attention, I expected some kind of accountability. Instead, I got the classic brush-off: “Sorry, the waitress is new.” That’s it. No action, not even a proper apology. Just a dismissive attitude that made it clear they didn’t care.

We still paid the bill — even though we were treated like an inconvenience. The management didn’t step up, the service was beyond careless, and the food was overhyped and OVERPRICED.

I don’t know where these five-star reviews are coming from, but from our experience, they’re completely misleading.

Let’s be real: this restaurant isn’t about providing good food or good service. It’s about playing dress-up for Instagram and pretending mediocrity is luxury. They’re too busy catering to their drunk regulars and friend circle to care about actual paying guests.

Calling this “fine dining” is a JOKE.

So if you want to overpay for bland food, get ignored by management, watch your server hook up with guests, and breathe in the lovely scent of moldy patio air — La Ciel is your spot.

Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. Even a frozen TV dinner would be a step up … at least it comes with instructions and...

I’ve been to La Ciel a few times, and each time has been an interesting experience.

This time, we were there to celebrate a birthday. We had already purchased some balloons and wanted to add them to the dome, but the restaurant informed us that we’d need to pay $100 for their decor package before we could bring in our own decorations. Even if we didn’t want their decor, they still required the $100 fee just to allow our own. It was a strange rule, but since we wanted to decorate the dome, we ended up paying it. While the decor they provided was decent, it definitely wasn’t worth the $100.

In the photo you can see the silver and pink balloons they added, with a very small neon sign that says HBD; the rose gold balloons in the middle are what we brought our self.

We ordered food, and the appetizers were generally good — except for the chicken tikka, which was dried out, lacked flavor, and seemed like it had been reheated from a few days earlier.

As we were celebrating, we ordered a few drinks, including four shots of vodka. We were shocked to find out they were $15 per shot — a bit absurd. Had I known, I would’ve just brought my own bottle of Ciroc for $50 rather than spending $60 for four shots. Most restaurants charge around $8 for vodka shots, so this felt like a rip-off.

Speaking of pricing, on each table they place bottles of water that are not complimentary — each likely charged at around $7. We asked for tap water instead, but the server kept insisting that the bottled water is what they usually serve. There were five of us, and we easily could’ve gone through four bottles, so it felt unreasonable to expect guests to spend nearly $30 just on water — especially when a perfectly fine and preferred alternative exists. Thankfully, our server did eventually bring us tap water, so we appreciated that.

Service overall was mediocre. We had to ask for the same things multiple times, which became frustrating. That said, the servers were still kind and respectful.

The shisha was good!

The ambiance is nice — the setup of the place is beautiful. However, something odd happened: the music was turned off because one guest requested it. It was strange that the restaurant prioritized one guest’s request over others who wanted the music to continue. It would be much better if each dome had its own speaker system to avoid situations like this.

Overall, I’d rate this experience a 6 out of 10. I wouldn’t recommend La Ciel for celebrating special occasions, as the pricing for everything is...

Not sure where to begin as it's going to be a long review, but I'll still do it

  1. When called to make a reservation for Sufi Night, I was told that minimum spending has to be $150 for 2 people. Even though it's a red flag, I still booked it because my husband likes sur sagar band. And there were a few single people there who were just enjoying their drink. And I know no drink was $75.
  2. Food and drinks-only achari chicken tikka (appetizer) and pink p**y (mocktail) was good. Main course was absolutely a waste of money. First, the quantity of Kali mirch chicken was good only for 1 person. Let me give you an idea of it-it was served in the dish that fine Italian restaurants use for pastas. The one with a small pit in the middle and the rim is super big. And it was very salty. It was $25. The goat biryani was just boiled rice mixed with extremely chewy goat pieces. It was fully cooked. Again $25. But the quantity was good. I had asked for whole green chillies on the side which never came with the food. Rumali roti and tandoori roti were cold. As a matter of fact, all the food wasn't warm enough to say that it was freshly made. We told our server, Ritika (I think that was her name. It was way too loud to have a conversation) about it, and she was supposed to send the manager (Shivam) who never came.
  3. Service- very poor. First weren't even given a table to sit, even though there were a few empty tables. . My husband told the manager (I guess that was him), Shivam that we'll leave if we're not seated. That's when we were given a table. Second, Ritika was quick to take the order for appetizer and drink, but then she disappeared for the longest time. I asked another server for her but she never came. Anyway, after waiting for 20-25 minutes to order the mains, I had to stop her to take our order. I did mention her about the wait and she smiled and but did apologize. She was busy greeting new people. I guess she forgot that there were others who she was serving. As mentioned earlier, it was extremely loud to have 2 blasting speakers for a restaurant that small. I think 1 speaker would have been enough for the area. The one thing I would like to thank them for is that they moved our reservation to 9:30 as the event was starting at 8:30 and they give only 15 minutes buffer to patrons. But then I'd called them well in advance to notify them being late.

To conclude, It's just an overpriced restaurant without any bells and whistles. We would not back to this restaurant or recommend...

A Mixed Experience Our recent visit to La Ciel Fine Dine left us with mixed feelings. Despite having reservations, we encountered a 15-minute wait for our table, which was an unexpected start to the evening. The main dining area was surprisingly loud for a fine dining establishment, but we found solace in the igloo seating area, where light, soothing music created a more pleasant ambiance. - Food and Drinks The restaurant offered a good variety of food and drink options. However, the pacing of the meal was off, with the main course arriving while we were still enjoying our starters. This rushed service detracted from the overall dining experience. Starters and Main Course - Chicken Momos (2/5): Underwhelming - Chicken Chowmein (3/5): Unusual presentation with large chicken cubes instead of shredded chicken, but the noodles were good - Chicken Angara Tikka (3/5): Decent taste, but the chicken was dry - Patiala Chicken Musallam (2/5): Disappointing, especially compared to authentic Indian versions Bread - Lachha Paratha (4/5): Good and flaky - Rumali Roti (4/5): Well-prepared Drinks The drinks were a highlight of the meal, with excellent presentation: - Mojito (5/5): Amazing presentation - Mango Margarita (4/5): Great presentation Dessert - Kulfi Falooda (5/5): Impressive presentation and taste Overall Impression While the food options were diverse, the taste was generally average, with nothing particularly standing out as a reason to return. The drinks and dessert were the saving graces of the meal, with their excellent presentation and taste. The total bill, including tip, came to $200 for two people, which felt steep considering the overall experience. While it was acceptable for a one-time visit, there wasn't anything compelling enough to warrant a return trip. Overall, we had a mixed experience with some highs (drinks, dessert) and lows (wait time, noise level, food quality).

⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Ciel has a really nice ambience that instantly gives you a cozy and relaxed vibe. ✨🏙️ The lighting, decor, and overall setup make it a pleasant place to hang out with friends or for a casual evening. One of the standout features has to be their unique igloo concept, which is not only creative but also Instagram-worthy ❄️📸. It definitely adds a special touch to your shisha experience! When it comes to shishas, I have to say they are on the pricier side 💸. While the presentation is top-notch and visually appealing 👌💨, the taste and quality didn’t quite live up to the price. As a shisha reviewer, I’ve had better elsewhere, so I feel there’s room for improvement in terms of flavors and overall smoothness. The food at La Ciel is decent but can definitely be improved 🍴😋. Compared to the pricing, it feels average, and I think they could enhance both taste and variety to match the ambience and premium feel of the place. The service here is good 🙂👍. Staff are polite, attentive, and ensure that guests feel taken care of, which is always a plus when you’re paying a higher price for shisha and dining. Overall, La Ciel is a place with great potential. 🌟 The ambience, igloo setup, and presentation are definite highlights, but the shisha quality and food need some improvement to match the premium pricing. As a shisha reviewer, I would give La Ciel 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️. If you’re looking for a place with a cool, unique setting for photos and a casual hangout, La Ciel is worth a visit. ❄️✨ But if your main priority is top-notch shisha for the price, I’d suggest they have room to grow and improve. Hopefully, with some tweaks, they can become one of the best shisha lounges around! 💨🔥
