My husband and I are not frequent bar goers but had the pleasure of visiting The Ladybug Tavern and we were fortunate enough to encounter a bartender who truly stood out from the rest. His name is Paul and he has an unforgettable mohawk - you can't miss him. He is an absolute legend and deserves all the praise in the world for his exceptional service and going above and beyond for every human he encounters (for the full Paul experience - go earlier in the week and you get the bonus of one of his best sidekicks - Julie)

What impressed me most was his attentiveness and ability to make everyone feel like a VIP as well as the way he expertly curates personalized recommendations. Not only did he listen to my preferences, but he also shared his own insights which made for a trip down memory lane as far as our custom drink experience played out. His passion for mixology is evident in every libation he crafts.

Sunday August 6th, around 8pm. Second time here. First time was amazing, 5 stars across. This second visit however, was among the worst service I have ever experienced. To be fair, the woman who brought us menu's was wonderful. The woman who took our order was awful. The second she discovered we weren't ordering achoholic beverages the service went down hill, fast. We were treated as secondary, merely a waste of this person's time. No napkins were ever brought. Unlike the tables around us who all had napkins. We had to use some that we brought ourselves. When I asked for the bill she asked if we wanted one bill or two. I said one as it would be weird if a husband and wife got separate bills. Not even 30 seconds later the bill was brought, and I am exaggerating the time as she wanted us out fast. Slow day or not, that server's attitude was unacceptable. We would normally tip extra as we don't drink all that often. This was a situation where under no circumstances was I going to tip as normal. Me and my wife rather liked the Ladybug Tavern... It took just one bad encounter to completely change our view and contemplate never returning. Which is a shame, but that server made her choice and so did the establishment...
