I am utterly disappointed with my recent experience at Lazeez Shawarma on 373 Church Street, Toronto. On June 3rd, at around 1:25 AM, I attempted to place an order over the phone. The girl who answered was incredibly rude, denying my order and insisting I visit the store. She hung up on me twice, displaying complete disregard for customer service. Determined to get my meal, I drove to the store and arrived at around 1:40 AM. I approached the girl over the counter to place an order, but she refused to take it and asked me to leave the store. Despite being a loyal customer for three years, I was met with disrespect and a lack of professionalism. She rudely informed me that orders are not accepted after 1:30 AM due to cleaning and closing procedures. There were two girls working at the time; the one with spectacles remained silent while the other was outright rude and ill-mannered. Her behavior was unacceptable and left me feeling anxious and extremely disappointed. I drove from Brampton to visit someone in Toronto and ended up going hungry because of this poor service. To make matters worse, when I mentioned leaving a Google review, she responded dismissively, saying, "Go on, nobody's gonna see your review except me." This level of arrogance and disregard for customer feedback is shocking. Additionally, I will be mailing Lazeez Shawarma franchise headquarters to urge them to inspect this particular store, which is ruining their image. Upon reviewing other feedback for this store, I concluded that most of the positive reviews are fake, as they frequently mention employee names. However, when I asked for the rude employee's name, she refused to provide it. I urge the owner to take strict action against such employees who lack basic customer service skills and display such rudeness. This experience was a complete letdown and has made me reconsider ever returning to Lazeez Shawarma.I am attaching video evidence as well

Is the food good? Yes...but holy carbs Batman. Opening week jitters and mass confusion abound with some staff seriously struggling with the English language. Ordered the chicken shawarma platter with Ceasar salad and one extra pita. It's a plate full of rice, three potatoes and chicken with sauce on top. I wasn't offered anything else such as beets, onions, etc nor did it come with the meal. The salad is its own meal, it's huge and swimming in its own sauce. You might think for 14 plus dollars you're getting a lot of food but it's a bucket of rice so not quite there. They have two other locations so I presume they know their way around but comparing this meal with other similar dishes in the area, such as the one offered right next door or half a block up Carlton or even at Yonge & Carlton and your taste buds will be asking why come here? Maybe in a month or so when they have the kinks worked out. PS: The accessible front door had just about everyone wondering if they were open. The power paddle wasn't working and you had to put some serious muscle to pull it open. Oh and that extra pita? Nope, never got it. When I asked I was told I was only charged for one pita. Ok but that extra one was verified at the cash upon ordering. "You want an extra pita?" "Yes, an extra one." As for the pita that comes with the meal, it wasn't given either. I had to go back and ask for it. Plus I ended up with two spoons, no fork or knife which made eating a bit of a struggle. It seems the customer has to be the one to oversee quality assurance and with 5 people behind the counter, that's pushing my limits of civility.

We ordered chicken on the rocks and ask for some extra sauce that they put in salads, as we are going to pay for the sauce the PUNJABI GIRL WITH DIMPLES saying that "YOU NO NEED TO PAY FOR THAT (50 CENTS)JUST POST GOOD REVIEW ON GOOGLE FOR BOTH OF US RIGHT NOW" she was literally ordering us and pretending she was doing a favour on us by sparing us 50 cent 😂😂 That thing is so weird like the way she asking, begging reviews from your customers is not acceptable. She was also really very unprofessional. Anyways, I approach to the other guy so i can pay for that little garlic sauce and the guy refuse to take money cuz he knows the girl messed up and he said I'm the manager "she don't even ask me if she can give sauce for free". Still We insist him to take money but he said no again. The girl was so unprofessional that she didn't know that when someone already pay for the food you need to handover them the food, but instead she just standing there doing nothing. After that we are just about to exit the shop and i heard that Dimple girl saying to the other guy "WHY DONT YOU TAKE THE MONEY"😂😂 So cheap and weird she was. However, the order she made was so horrible, never had this much wrost chicken on the rock, chicken and garlic sauce quantity is so f less that i have to order another from OSMOW's. PICTURE BELOW👇 FIND WHERE THE CHICKEN AND GARLIC SAUCE GO😂😂 AND IF THIS CONTINUES THAT DIMPLE GIRL WILL RUIN THIS BUSINESS.
