I was looking for a place to grab dinner by myself in the middle of the week and found Mesobs on Google right up the street from me. I'm so glad I did. It is decorated in a way that you can tell the owners are proud of their culture and looking to share it with people. The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable and nostalgic . My server was so sweet and helped me with my meal as I tried to order an amount of coffee more appropriate to a group than just one person. The food was excellent and the portion was huge. I had the Mesobs Special Veggie and thoroughly enjoyed the two meals I got out of it! The coffee was a wonderful after dinner treat and I just can't say enough about this place. Truly a gem on Lansdowne serving simple, tasty and affordable food that is made with care. I will be back and hope others will enjoy it as much as I did. I didn't manage to take any photos before I started devouring the food but I'll...

We happened upon this awesome restaurant coming out of landsdown subway station and I'm so happy we did! The atmosphere was great, inviting and serene. The service was top notch, super friendly and we felt welcomed immediately! Very clean and authenticly decorated. Our waitress was amazing and even asked if we required cutlery ( which we declined) however it was thoughtful of her to ask. We ordered the meat platter for 2 and it came out in a great presentation and was huge! The different recipes were spiced perfectly and absolutely delicious. The price was amazing! There is also a dessert shop with various authentic desserts which we ordered to go as we were very full from the one platter. I wished we lived closer so we could go there more often but we will be making specific trips just to go back....

Mesobs is ONLY for ones to try and no more ➡️tell you why: I’ve been in many African, Ethiopian restaurants, I know how to make injera or doroyout and I know about good food😊👍🏼I can’t call this place as a restaurant, looks like a cafe or fast food place. One teen is serving food and makes mistakes. I was there after lunch time, place was kinda slow with a few customers but I didn’t see any adults who run the Mesobs business. Don’t expect antiseptic napkins to clean your hands before meal 👎🏽 because you have to use 🖐🏼🤌🏼fingers to eat injera/ African type of bread with different veggies or meat souse. Place needs to be clean 🧼 well⚠️specially ladies washrooms🤢 Sorry for my low key review but I’m very honest with my opinion and paying money for...
