This restaurant also serves as a convenience store. Selling Snacks, Tobacco, lighters/papers, and some select grocery items; like Penautbutter.
I don't often write reviews, unless a restaurant really wows me, for better, or for worse. This time it was for the better. The fries were perfectly seasoned. They were so good that I forgot to even use ketchup, and I usually have my fries with extra ketchup. Perfect light-golden fry on them, still flexible, but not at all soggy; even after walking 350m back to my truck. We took the uneaten sandwiches up to the counter and explained the situation. They offered to comp us for another sandwich! Hello, if a customer finds a HAIR in their food, the cost of the meal should be re-imbursed because NO WAY am I eating there again. Very displeased with their customer service and a $22.87 dollar...

Besides the variety of yummy goodies and sweets that are offered ... lo and behold... they have a phenomenal barbecue menu! For my very first try I had the bacon fritters and they did not disappoint. Crisp and fluffy with generous pieces of smokey bacon paired with an awesome creamy Creole aioli...it made for a great snack.. like a party in my mouth! Next time I'll be sure to try one of the beautifully handcrafted sandwiches or one of the many great selections of comfort food. Made with all local ingredients, it makes for a great feeling to support a business that strives to offer a nostalgic ambience and super fun and delicious food...
