It’s probably been a few weeks since I last ordered from here and I always order pizza and garlic fingers with extra donair sauce to go with the pizza. And tonight I was disappointed to find out the donair sauce has been changed. It’s now very thick (kind of looks like straight up mayonnaise), smells and tastes closer to garlic sauce than donair sauce. I’m quite sad to see they’ve changed half of the reason I eat from Maker Pizza and that it will probably be a very long time before I order from there for myself. I regret ordering the extra sauce tonight as I will not eat it and I hate wasting things. I’m a sauce with my pizza kinda girly and when they started allowing you to order extra donair with the garlic fingers I was so excited because I eat it with my pizzas too, but this sauce is just not it. I hope people see my review before ordering the donair sauce in case they’re expecting the delicious original version. I also hope whoever at Maker Pizza thought changing the recipe was a good idea, that they see my review and maybe others will want the original too and it gets changed back. Please change it back!

Maker pizza has always been my top choice for quality and good pizza if I want to splurge a bit and I don't want pizza hut/domino's etc. I've been ordering from Maker for a couple years now and the pepperoni is my go to. I don't order any other "gourmet" pizza. If you try a new pizza joint, I recommend always ordering baseline which is pepperoni. If that pizza place can't execute that properly, it's not good pizza in my opinion. I'm old school and the simpler the pizza with the lesser ingredients, the more premium and better it is when made well. I'm not here to endorse rivalry or competition, but I've tried Badiali's and they are absolutely delicious no doubt. Honestly, both places make somewhat similar pepperoni pizzas, but what Maker's strength is their dough and crust. Dip that crust in garlic sauce, and it's heaven. The crust is charred to perfection is crafted a lot better than Badiali's. No shade to Badiali's, but if I have to choose good pizza, Maker every single time.

Did not realize that this location is production facility of Maker Pizza and there is no seating area. Picked up take out Dr.Pepperoni small size($27.12 inc. tax) and it was enough for two people. Took about 10 min on Saturday evening around 8pm, pizza served piping hot. First of all pizza crust was thin crust, crispy at the bottom & soft on top. Just right amount of tomato sauce. Quality of cheese & pepperoni were excellent. Loved the hint of fennel powder on my pizza as well. I watched this you tuber criticizing pizza dough to be too thick( almost like Puzza hut) but was not sure what happened? Was that you tuber crazy or was there an improvement with the pizza dough? Enjoyed Maker very much and will definately return to try other pizza.

If you are thinking about ordering Maker Pizza here is how it will go....

You and your (insert whoever) decide to order pizza. One of you says "Hey, Maker is new in the Hood, Let's check it out!" Google Maker Pizza Carlaw Check out the menu, looks really good maybe a bit $$ Order...oh wait need to download an app - ok Download, install, sign up, authenticate, load payment OK ready to order. One 'Return of the Mac' please $37.00 yikes but whatever Sorry we don't deliver....that's ok it is on my way home from work Pick up it is.....it's only 7pm now....lets say 8pm pick up Sounds perfect ORDERED for pick up 714pm text received Order received. Pick up time 810pm follow instructions when you arrive. Great! 806pm open instructions press "I've arrived" button Please wait patiently in your car or outside (-13C) until you receive "Order Ready" message and come on in (lucky I drove). 815pm notice many people waiting in cars out front 825pm notice people still waiting in cars all over the street 830pm notice one person leave with a pizza (ok good I know they are open) 840pm person in car in front of you goes inside (ok I must be next) 845pm person from in front comes back no pizza ask "What time was your pick up?" response "830pm they just told me could be 5mins could be 45mins" 850pm check app no cancel button anywhere 852pm go inside....several other people waiting 855pm umm Can I cancel please? This is a pick up pizza location only! Ordered online for the 2nd time last night around 7pm and the process was so smooth (my order was saved from 3 months ago). Each time I have ordered it does take about 20-25 minutes before your pizza is ready and if you get it delivered that will add some time too so it's good to plan a little ahead. They allow you to customize many aspects (more cheese? More sauce? Hot honey? Etc) of your pizza but given my inexperience with their pies, for the 2nd time I went with the standard offering which still really hit the spot. They keep your pizza warm until pick up at 145°F and it is best to eat it right away to get the best experience. Usually order pizza to suit my 11 year old so far we have tried the pepperoni and the Margherita and haven't branched out beyond that. Two 12 inches are a great size for 3 hungry women. We love the super thin crust and simplicity of the margherita-- it was polished off first (might order 2 marg next time!!) I don't usually eat pizza bc I have to take half a bottle of lactaid but I do it for this pizza. It's a treat! I like a little brio to drink. IYKYK. They do also have option to remove cheese and one marinara pizza but if what you're looking for is accommodation for everyone's food sensitivities/preferences I.e gluten free/lactose free/vegan etc Blondies has...
