I was really looking forward to trying the food here. My partner and I have our usual favorite restaurants for Thai and Vietnamese, but we wanted to try a new place in the neighborhood, and this place had really good reviews. Apparently, the staff didn't find our patronage necessary. When we arrived and sat at a table, we were brought menus, a bottle of water and cups. We read through the menu for about 5 minutes and then waited for our order to be taken. And waited. And waited. At about the same time we arrived, a table of guys also arrived. During the time that we waited, this table had their order taken, they were given drinks, and actually had food served. Also during this time, the same server taking care of this table, also talked on the phone, I assume taking orders - fine, then kind of stood around the till, took another phone order, then stood leaned against the door jamb of the kitchen, and then got the food for the aforementioned table. I was ready to go after 15 minutes of being ignored, but my partner wanted to give it a chance and tried to get the server's attention. When he motioned to her, she sort of looked askance at us and made a sound, which seemed like acknowledgement, but continued what she was doing. We sat for another two minutes and then I'd had it. I couldn't stand another minute of being completely disregarded so we left. Really disappointing because I like supporting local restaurants but unfortunately, I wont go be going back to this...
Read moreI have been coming here since it opened. I used to like eating in or doing take out with original founders / owners . Unfortunately now I notice the staff fill Uber eats orders before take out walk in orders and even serve in house diners who arrive after take out customers have placed their orders . Today a weekly “regular “ showed up at a table and although I had already waited over 20 minutes his food was brought out immediately. I guess foot traffic walk in customers who pay cash are not paying the Uber eats prices so the orders are prioritized differently in the kitchen . It used to be first come first serve but it’s a different experience now . . I frequently went for take out during the pandemic to support the business. Every owner has their own style of running a business but I used to feel like I was part of their family when the former founders were there with their kids practicing on the piano on site . Fresh and tasty food however service is unpredictable. Relationships with customers in the local community are equally important as volume and turn around with food delivery app customers and Uber eats reviews . I likely will try them one more time but if the service is the same where I am waiting over 25 minutes while food app drivers are prioritized and certain clientele I will opt to order from a few other Thai spots that are a drive away...
Read moreI just had the worst experience with the delivery order. For the delivery I called the restaurant and told what I would like to order for delivery and when I received the order, order it was incorrect. So I called the restaurant and told them that one of the order is incorrect than guess what happens next. Instead of apologizing he goes you can bring the order in restaurant and I will exchange. Hello there is a reason why I had to order delivery but I still took the time and told him that I didn't have car with me and that's the whole purpose of me ordering through phone for delivery. He goes you lied about the order and at that very second I lost control on hearing any anything from him. So I said don't bother fixing my order and have a nice day! I pretty much go there most of the time and now I don't know if I will ever go back to...
