Revitasize East York — Restaurant in Toronto

I am writing with regards to a life-threatening allergic reaction I had as a result of the items i ordered on Uber Eats on August 2nd 2024. I ordered from this restaurant a few times prior to this incident. When I ordered before, I always disclosed my severe peanut allergy. I was clearly reassured that if an item does not have peanuts listed as an ingredient, they would be careful and that I was ok to order from this restaurant. This particular order was preordered the night before and the option to disclose my allergy was turned off. I was unable to leave a note. Nonetheless, I made the order knowing that peanuts were not listed as an ingredient in the items I ordered. I requested almond butter which I am not allergic to. Within seconds of having the smoothie bowl, I went into anaphylactic shock and was brought by ambulance to the resuscitation room where my heart rate dropped and I was given 3 epi pens. It is a miracle I survived. My friend had a taste of my smoothie bowl and told me she believes that instead of almond butter, Revitalized put peanut butter in my smoothie bowl. There were 2 witnesses, my friend and my brother who smelt the bowl and said peanuts were added to my bowl. This mistake almost killed me. While I acknowledge that I did not disclose my allergy, my friend called revitalized to notify them that their mistake led to a serious situation and that I was currently in the hospital, the employees then admitted to not properly cleaning knives, contradicting the sentiments I was told that they don’t mix peanuts with anything in their restaurant. The store manager then spoke to my friend in a rude, unapologetic tone.

Overall. I ordered a smoothie bowl, and the ingredients did not disclose that it contained peanuts but I received a bowl with peanuts that nearly killed me. I have finally been able to fully recover and I am disgusted with how the restaurant manager and employees reacted upon being notified that I was in life-threatening condition in...

This weekend, we had the pleasure of visiting this truly beautiful place on Coxwell. The ambiance was absolutely delightful, captivating our senses and creating a serene atmosphere. It was a perfect retreat for our family.

One aspect that stood out was the enchanting music playing in the background. Our daughter was especially fond of it, as it added a touch of magic to the whole experience. The melodies resonated with our souls, making the visit even more memorable.

The large open window was a fantastic feature, allowing a gentle breeze to fill the space with freshness. The invigorating air revitalized our spirits, creating a sense of tranquility and rejuvenation. It truly enhanced our enjoyment of the place.

To top it all off, we couldn't resist trying the mango smoothie, which turned out to be the ultimate treat. Its delightful flavor and refreshing texture provided the perfect finishing touch to our wonderful experience. It truly felt like the icing on the cake.

Needless to say, we are already planning our next visit. This place has left an indelible mark on our hearts, and we are eager to return and relive the captivating ambiance, cherish the enchanting music, enjoy the invigorating breeze, and savor more...

I recently visited Revitasize in the Coxwell area with my friends and had most delightful smoothie experience. From the movement we walked in , we were greeted with warm and friendly staff. Atmosphere was inviting, with clean and modern interior that had a relaxing vibe . As for Smoothies , they were absolutely fantastic ! I tried the Revitasize green smoothie, it was perfect blend of top notch ingredients. I overall , my experience at coxwell Revitasize was excited.
