very simple mom & pop sushi restaurant. they were definitely short staffed but the lady was doing a fantastic job of managing all the tables & being honest with new customers that came in that it would be slow. Once we ordered, everything came out relatively quickly. The water was infused with lemons! That was a nice surprise Miso soup was delicious - we ordered a sushi set which included it and ordered another. Veg tempura was good and great price - onion, sweet potato, zucchini, and broccoli The sushi set came with California and salmon rolls. I didn’t realize the seaweed would be on the outside for the salmon but it wasn’t too bad! The sushi was really good. The one thing we felt was a bit expensive was the edamame at $3.95 for the small plate. We would definitely come back!

I frequent this restaurant more often than I'd like to! The menu is extensive but price is reasonable considering its location at Yonge and it sells sushi. My favorite are the spicy scallop sushi, spicy maki set, galbi and dolsot bibimbap. Any of these comes with the entree miso soup and salad. I like the flavor of the sushi and found the service to be quick. The price for five comes to almost $70.. I also like the sunset crab for its colour and taste! The restaurant is narrow and the washroom is in the basement. I find the steps to be a bit steep so do be careful if you need to go down. They do free delivery above $25 but since the old lady is typically the ones who deliver, it's much faster to pick up at the restaurant..

An unassuming spot on Yonge Street near Davisville. Small place, good food. If you like Korean and Japanese food this is an excellent place to eat at very affordable prices. I had the Super Bento Box and frankly I thought the price was low (no customer ever said that, but I did). My bill was $20 including tax (plus a generous tip). Now, this is not a fine dining Omakase restaurant, so must not compare to that, but for a good Japanese meal and very good value for money, stop by. I know I will go back.

I don’t know whether it was a server or an owner, but when I called for a delivery, they told me the minimum amount was $30. I thought it was weird since $25 was the amount they put up on their official website, but I already spent enough time picking out what to order and stuff, so I just decided to order. It took a little long for whoever received the call to get my number and address through the phone, so the call had gotten long enough already by then. Proceeding to the last part, she told me how much it’d be in total. It was a little more than I expected, so I doubled checked with her how it got that expensive. She said it was because of tax, and then even before I had a second to talk, she literally asked “So, do you wanna order or not?” like I’m wasting her time. I got so offended there that I immediately asked her back why she’s talking to me like that, and she went “We have so many customers waiting. Just decide.” I am one of many customers too. I got really really mad that I finished the phone call in a really aggressive way, which I shouldn’t have and regret, but treating one of your many “customers” that way is never good in a long run. You might have lost just one or two customers now, but you will lose way more that you’ll lose counting at one point if you run a business that way. You should also put down your menus on the website because everything written there seems to have been changed a...

Edit: I decided to try here and was skeptical of how the place looks (dejavu…I think I did years ago, but was afraid). I ordered maki rolls: spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and crab and fancy topped with fried tempura bits and salmon cubes, and shredded crab (imitation of course) on top. Decent portion. Their miso soup is also better than most places that skimp miso soup and salad, but here they add sliced white mushrooms. It was so good I returned 2 days later. I can’t wait to try other dishes, but I tend to be boring if I like something at a certain place I generally always order the same thing. The woman/hostess was friendly and the cooks (make and female) you cannot see in the curtain kitchen are also friendly and shout thanks or bye when I left on both occasions.

I had it again and tonight the tempura topping has quite a few extremely hard bits so hard you cannot bite through it because it feels like a rock. Odd. Most of the rice rolls fell apart too. Not impressed today. Hope...

I have to share this for those in the need for an honest review that is heartfelt and meaningful. The folks that serve me at least twice a week do their best to ensure that I am totally satisfied as I must be due to the fact I frequent them almost loyally as there are at least 5 other Sushi locations in my proximity. I can always expect the same heartfelt greeting upon my arrival and know that whatever I order is going to be as good as or better tasting as the last time. The prices I believe are reasonable and I am a loyal client due to their consistent behaviour and attitude, Heck, they even add in their special soup on occasion at no extra charge as instead of points on a receipt I am awarded for my loyalty immediately. I do not mince words and can honestly say that no waste of time or money can...
