Took my daughter here as a late Birthday dinner. She ordered the Banquet Burger which comes with a burger, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup and mustard. We asked for no onions and mustard. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak which comes with steak, cheese, onions and mushrooms. Fries came with both orders. When my daughter got her burger it came with the burger, bacon, cheese and mayo. The lettuce, tomatoes, and ketchup were missing but we were given mayo instead. I brought it to the waitresses attention and she took it back. My Philly Cheesesteak sandwich came with steak that was thinner than pkgd sandwich meat, cheese, onions and green peppers. I guess they ran out of mushrooms and substituted the green peppers. I was disappointed as I was craving mushrooms but I ate it. When my daughter's burger came back, it had the burger, cheese, bacon and ketchup. The burger was the circumference of a McDonald's hamburger, only thicker but still much smaller than the Banquet Burger at the Mississauga location. We will not be returning to this location again. Warning - the prices on their website is incorrect so you may be overcharged. I had some bad luck ordering from this restaurant recently. First time I ordered through UberEats a week ago and 15 minutes after ordering, the order was cancelled.

The next day I found their website and decided to order through their website instead for lunch. I went to pick up my food and the waitress told me that they weren't even aware of the order and the chef is not in that day and the restaurant was closed.

Today I called in to place the order, asked for the daily special listed on their website, the waitress confirmed the order. When I go pick up the order, I was told there was no daily special and was charged extra for side of greek salad. After an intense workout at the gym, Hubby treated me to breakfast at Mama Rosa Restaurant and Bar.

I was pleasantly surprised with the photos on the wall that mark Canadian greats. From athletes (Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, Raptors) to singing greats (we sat in the Gord Downy booth), this quaint spot is proudly Canadian.

The waitress who serves us was very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. We ordered the all day breakfast which was delicious! We both ordered scrambled eggs with bacon, hashbrowns and whole wheat toast.

A pleasant surprise was to hear that the waitress knew the names of all the customers who came through the door. You don’t hear that too often!

I love this spot and I will be back … did I say the food is delicious?!
