I'm am so angry right now Im so shocked this even happened. I make my order and the total comes to $18.08 and I go to pay with a $20 bill then the girl says "I don't have any change to give you from your $20 bill" I really didn't even know how to answer that, so I said what do you mean you don't have change like a $1.92 to return to me isn't this mary browns and she says no I don't have change so I said well why don't you give me a banana pudding for the difference because you don't have change, she said no but I can give you a small macaroni salad I said no I don't want that and she said no I can't give you the banana pudding and I was like I'm trying to accommodate you because "you don't have change" So I went to my car and found a $1.35 so I said this is all the change I have so put what you owe me plus $1.35 and give me the banana pudding so I put the change on the counter and went to the bathroom and then went to pick up my order and she says there is your change so not only did she give me the $1.35 but she also gave me my original $1.92 that I should have got back in the first place. Like wtf is going on here. It was 10:35 pm when I made my order so either the girl was just being lazy and didn't want to recount the till or there is something really wrong with her. I just realized the restaurant closes at 12:00am so how would you not have change for 2 hours before you close I have no clue but there should be no reason a restaurant like Mary Brown's would have no change for there customers especially 2 hours before they close on a Friday night. I go here all the time and then I have to deal with this Micky mouse restaurant that doesn't have a $1.92 change for there customer what a joke Im just in shock. Its not the end of the world but why do you have to even go through something like that just to buy food. I guess it's back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter contacting the head office because the store wouldn't replace my full order (which was all dry chicken & not the right portion size) Jeff kindly helped me and fixed the situation by offering our order to be remade, like the location should of done. When i went to get the order remade, i was greeted with attitude by Navi, upset i guess that they had to remake our order. Navi asked me to try the banana pudding that i complained about because the cookies were stale. I tried it, said it still tasted bad and could he please replace it with something of equal value. He said no and gave me a hard time saying he already did enough for me. As soon as my fiance came in the store and another customer stepped in, agreeing with us saying "if the food is bad, you have to replace it" Navi gave in and listened to the MEN even though i was speaking to him with respect. I was beyond shocked at how misogynistic Navi is. Another female customer got involved as well, agreeing how wrong it was that he would treat a women with disrespect yet be respectful to men. It's bin about 2 weeks now, I haven't received even an apology from the store owner or their management team. I was going there quite often as well but that will definitely change. Discrimination shouldn't be tolerated in any situation. They've lost...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly, I am convinced that the quality of chicken here is setting a higher level of expectation. The price is somewhat higher than average but I have never regretted a meal or felt rather unhappy.
Basically, if you order a meal and split it with the new honey mustard flavor and original, you will get a sense of the level of seasoning that goes into the preparation. Otherwise, many other chicken places use a standard buttermilk batter or herbs and spices, your sauce is pretty much the finishing touch.
Thatās the reason why I prefer the type of chicken that packs a lot of taste into preparation, rather than relying on sauces for flavor profiles.
The additional point is that the wedges known as ātatersā are so flavorful for poutine that broader fries gives an entirely different type of experience. Unlike the thin crispy fries, these are made from mealy potatoes that area moist and thick. The extra breading offers a moderate crisp. A few curds not many, but itās all good.
The chicken isnāt cheap. Be prepared to spend $30 for a single meal. This factor means that I eat out less often but I am very picky where I shop. The place is kept tidy and orderly. I will shop again. Breaded pickles was a novelty at first but I decided I donāt need āem every...
