Absolutely the worst run McDonald's I've ever encountered. This restaurant location represents everything that is wrong in the world, all wrapped up in a small package. A late night trip with my son, to get him a very complicated order - a small, chocolate shake. That's it. One small shake. The line-up for the drive-thru was slow, and it took ten minutes to get to place the order. I'm told that they don't have shakes. So...no order. The problem is that once you reach the point of ordering, you can't get out of the drive-thru lane and exit. You're stuck. And the service was extremely slow. It took another twenty minutes for them to serve only two cars ahead of me, but I was trapped behind them and could not exit, even though I was not able to order what I wanted. So I waited for no reason other than to watch the drive-thru staff at the window engage in some form of conversation with the car ahead of me. When I reached the window, and asked why they don't have shakes...I'm told the shakes have been down since 8 pm (it was now 12:45 a.m.). No apology that I've had to wait in line for half an hour for nothing. I'm told by the absolutely rude and useless staff at the window that she is training two people. Why or how is that relevant? Does it explain why it takes 20 minutes to serve two cars ahead of me? It seems the pre-requisite for working at McDonald's these days is to not give a damn about the customer. To not care if someone is not served. To care only about making excuses for lousy service and to be incapable of apologizing or caring. I'm sympathetic to people who need a job, but quite frankly, paying people with this kind of attitude anything approaching minimum wage is overpaying them. The management at this location must seek out people who have zero concern for anybody but themselves. I'm aware that this is McDonald's - the food isn't really any good, but it is simply a convenience, one of the few places open at this time of night. I don't expect much. But when a customer is inconvenienced and stuck in a line for half an hour and still unable to get what they came for, a simple "I'm sorry for your inconvenience" would go a long way. Instead, all I know is that they are training two people at midnight. Ok, I've ranted and got it off my chest. The real purpose of this post isn't to complain, but to warn other potential customers. Just a warning to stay away. The sooner this location closes due to lack of customers coming there, the better. They don't deserve to...
Read moreCame here last night at 1030PM. It took 5-10 mins before we went to move to the drive-through machine to make an order. From there on end, it took even longer for us to move after making our order. We didn't leave that drive-through until 1105PM. We couldn't leave because there were 2 cars ahead of us and at least 3 behind. The passenger in the car behind us went inside to check/complain after waiting 10-15 mins of us unmoving. When we finally moved, we got half of our order and waited another 15 or so minutes to the rest. The driver behind us finally lost it and walked to the drive through window next to us yelling at staff, how it was a safety hazard not being able to get out since people were sandwiched between cars, and how people could be getting robbed while they idled for almost 30 minutes at the drive through waitinf to get served. Management stated that only 3 people were working. From us having been by the window, we watched multiple staff (some out of uniform, some in) chatting away. No person was working except the woman at the window who looked like she was manning the drive-through, front end, and the food being served. I've never in my life waited over half an hour for mcdonalds, and had it not been for the fact that we had already waited and paid, we would not have stayed. This place is so unorganized, unprofessional, and so unsympathetic towards its customers it's insane. Abhorrent service, especially from the manager in charge who couldn't even be bothered to provide an apology but instead argued with the customer as if we were the ones in the wrong for having been upset. That's a YOU problem you're understaffed. Customers shouldn't be the one wasting needing to compensate...
Read moreWhen I first came to order inside the restaurant, there’s no one at the cashier area. I waited for a minute or two and I could see that there are three of them at the drive-through and one at the kitchen and so I raised my voice and said is anyone working cash. I had to say it twice before someone came down. Then they gladly took my order.
So I was asking another cashier while I was waiting for my food here at McDonald’s how the peach pie was made if it was baked it was this young girl (Maria), and she just looked at me just stared at me and when she said it’s done the same way as the apple pie. So I asked her so it’s baked and she just ignored me. I had to repeat myself againand she goes I don’t know. And I said her you just said it’s the same as apple pie in the apple pie is baked is it not and she goes? I don’t know but it’s done the same way. Cashier does not know how the pies are made even if they work on cash.
So I told her outright you’re not nice and she looked at me and I said you didn’t answer my question properly. I told her that you’re not even acknowledging me ; she just mumble something off.
These are the reasons why I now eat fast food at Wendy’s because their customer service is top-notch. Most locations have horrible customer service like this. I Uber a lot so I eat a lot because I don’t have time to make food at home. I used to eat at McDonald’s a lot for lunch and dinner until I just got sick and tired of this awful CUSTOMER SERVICE. This was totally...
