This was the highest rated Vietnamese restaurant in the area and open on Jan 1, 2023 so a friend and I trudged down to the eatery. I was in the mood for some Tom Kha Gai but this place doesn’t offer that. I was instead suggested Thai curries but that’s not what I wanted so had to opt for Pho Gai. We also ordered mango salad, veg spring rolls, curry Pad Thai (veg + tofu), bok Chou in ginger + garlic sauce, mango milkshake and Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk. With the order, we were initially given chilli sauce and hoisin sauce. Mango salad was great and the portion wholesome. Bok Choy was good as well but could have had better flavour. Veg spring rolls were disappointing as was the pad thai and the chicken pho. It just lacked flavour - had to spice it up with the available sauces. At most of the Vietnamese restaurants I have been before this (and I have been to many), chilli oil is considered a standard supplement. When requested, I got a very small serving (which was funny) in a miniature plate but it tasted okay. Of the two staff that attended to us (one male and one female), the chap was definitely more welcoming. The milkshake was good but it needed more milk and the mango was fairly sour. The coffee was great! Overall, food is generally palatable but this place doesn’t get more than 3 stars from me. Will I revisit? No.

This is a Thai Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine restaurant, they have menus from each cuisine. We came here on a Saturday evening and we ordered a pho, some fried wontons and a vermicelli dish (with spring roll and chicken). For three people this was more than enough food and we had leftovers to take home. The pho and vermicelli dish is solid but not the best we've ever had. This is a casual spot where people come to eat with their family and friends. The washrooms are in the back. You actually need to go into a hallway that is not part of the restaurant. You can see my pictures. I have to say that the service here is outstanding and very attentive. My mom dropped a pack of tissues and one of the servers went out to the parking lot to return it to her which was such a kind gesture. Would definitely come again when we're in the area.

Meh compared to every other place. The com tam isn't even com tam, it's regular grained rice. The bun heo cha gio is pretty heavy on the salad side and the vermicelli is strangely dense. The spring roll is embarrassingly small compared to competitors. Also, side note, I asked for minced chili (chili garlic) for our two dishes that basically *require* it and they had to ask me about it twice. If you know Viet food - you know there's like only one type of minced chili garlic that goes into fish sauce. Good news is that the meats were seasoned nicely. Other side note: washroom uses keys that's located outside of the restaurant in the back.

Loved the food and the ambiance of this restaurant. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the inside was really cozy and, although casual, the decor was appropriate for a nice sit down dinner. I base my ratings for Vietnamese cuisine according to their grilled chicken and rice or vermicelli. So I ordered the grilled chicken with rice and added an egg with an additional charge. My friend got the Pad Thai. The service was a bit slow and the food took a bit longer than other Viet restaurants I've been to, but considering the fully occupied restaurant, I understood. The server was friendly, nevertheless. The portion sizes were good and the chicken was excellent...not too greasy (as I've experienced in the past). My dish was also served with a side of pho broth, which according to the server, was to be eaten with the rice. This was something that has never been served at other restaurants that I have been to. Although I still do prefer the flavour of the lemongrass grilled chicken from Pho mi 99 at Latimer, this chicken had a different seasoning which was good too for a change. The Pad Thai was also really enjoyed. By the time we were done with dinner the waiting line for a table had significantly increased, which goes to show it's popularity. I really enjoyed this place and will...
