I am absolutely disgusted with the service at this restaurant. I had gone in and told the workers that I could not see (I had gone to an eye doctors appointment and had been dilated) I then asked for chicken and fries and asked what size it comes in and the lady said “only large”. I would not be able to eat a large so i asked for a chicken wrap and paid for the chicken wrap. I asked for an apple juice after already paying for the chicken wrap and then paid for the apple juice. Then I ask for my receipts and she asked “both?” and I said yes (because I didn’t know how much I paid for each item). She gave me the receipts and began to speak to her coworker in another language. i then tried taking a picture of the receipts (so that I could try zooming in on my phone) and while i was trying to do this, her colleague told me that I was overcharged and that they would provide me a refund for the extra charge on the apple juice. i felt appalled, asked for a full refund for the apple juice which they could not put back on my card and gave it to me in cash. i was speechless and just took my chicken wrap and left. I have never written a bad review but i was stunned she could take advantage of someone visually impaired. this behaviour is absolutely sickening to me i could not even eat the chicken wrap and ended up throwing it out. i will never support this...
Read moreMy husband and I live in the area and got the flyer for their grand opening. We want to support local and wanted shawarma for dinner. My husband got a wrap which he said was fine and he ordered a chicken shawarma plate for me. When he brought it home and opened the box it wasn't what we were expecting. When we go to other Shawarma restaurants chicken shawarma plate means chicken and rice and veggies and all the toppings. At this place it was a wrap with some fries. We were both confused. He went to go bring it back but they msde us pay again for the new meal. My rice was COLD, chicken was cold and the supposedly pickled veggies tasted it stale and old. The only thing was decent was the coleslaw. The shawarma plate was medicore 5/10 for taste and my husband told the guy making my chicken on rice ro put a little sauce , he DID NOT listen and overloaded it with sauce. We will NOT be returning and will be going back to our usual favourites such as kebab 49 and shawarma club....
Read moreIf I could give less than one star, I would. I’ve never been to this place before but been wanting to try it for a long time and it was supper disappointing. Compared to other shawarma chains, the amount of food they give you is pathetic for how much you pay. On top of everything, I live right upstairs and my food was completely cold when I got home and ate it, meaning it was cold when it was given to me. I noticed that the burners for the meat weren’t on and he turned it on right when he sliced it for me so I was already assuming it was cold by the time I got it. Also the chicken was so tough and dry and it had almost like little holes it … I don’t know it was a little weird. I will definitely not be coming back and to be honest I urge others not to either. I’m surprised how many good reviews it has. Maybe it was the time I went it just wasn’t good. I really wanted to like it but it’s so little food for a much higher price point than the places...
