One of the worst places to have Japanese Ramen. Visited them at the food court on Sunday with my son. We weren't planning to have ramen at first, but the server who walked the line told us they are giving out free appetizer per order. We gave them a try and ordered a black garlic ramen for my son and a spicy one myself. $16.5 each. Cashier suggested we added an egg and my son ordered a pop. Total bill came to $46 (very pricy for food court). When we saw the finished products, we're disappointed. The size/portion was very small, only half of what we get else where. Each order only came with 2 thin slice of meat. The egg they suggested to add was only half an egg and it cost $1.99 extra (not full egg as shown on pic). The appetizer they offered us was just a small size potato balls (no taste). Furthermore, I am sure they use MSG in their broth because after the meal I was super thirsty and drank over a litre of water. Anyone willing to spend $46, pretty sure you have way better options in town. This place is over rated...

this is the first time having midori from a food court, but the food was definitely just as good!

we got the: -red spicy ramen 🌶️🍜 broth was clean and had just enough of a kick from the spice, though we did opt for their mild option since jen can’t handle spice. she survived and enjoyed it 👍 -black garlic ramen 🧄🍜 this is jer’s go to item, which is creamier and stronger on the taste. -taco wasabi 🐙octopus was fresh with a good amount of wasabi. Though the container doesn’t look too big, it was a good amount for us to eat. unfortunately we ran out of seaweed before using it all up, so be generous when you make your rolls—more seaweed please!

*both ramen came with an egg(ajitsuke tamago), which were cooked perfectly to jen’s liking! their ramen is slightly different than the other places who typically do a pork bone broth(tonkotsu), miso/shio or such, but theirs is made from a chicken soup base!

check them out now, their grand opening is june 15th with a bogo on ramen so we already know its...

I have the worst ramen (in fact it is not freshly made authentic ramen, it tastes like an upgraded instant noodle texture). Anyway, it costs me $18.63 for a small bowl of spicy veg ramen. Not to mention that there is no veg in the bowl except few(I mean few pieces) of soggy stale and really small fried tofu cubes). They taste awful!! (I cannot even finish the so called veg pieces in the bowl). The soup is not hot at all. Traditionally the ramen soup should be hot and tasty. It is surprising to see that a lady staff (maybe a part time staff) put some lukewarm noodle in the tacky looking plastic bowl, ($18.63 each!!) and the other staff just poured some soup and garnish the bowl with a chilli. Maybe this is a new way to present a spicy ramen with a non spicy soup??) The staff are not pleasant and look annoyed when they are making the ramen. A good bowl of ramen should be at least serving in HOT and TASTY soup. Not worth to pay $18.63 for a bad...

Finally get to eat a hot bowl of ramen soup while I’m shopping! The storefront is beautiful and caught my attention right when I entered the food court. My friend and I ordered the red spicy and the red spicy vegetarian. The soup came in MINUTES and it was just as quality tasting as the independent location I’ve been to on Queen St. Worth the price - hope they don’t change it! Would even dare to say I’ll come to the mall just for the ramen since I love a quick in and out take-out situation. Staff was also very sweet - spoke to them and wanted to show my support with this review.
