THE WORST EXPERIENCE! While the place has a lovely atmosphere, the information that staff provide about cover fee for the evening and prices in general is completely inaccurate and misleading. The place offers events on Saturdays with performers, and guests are expected to pay a cover fee for the table that includes dinner and the table reservation. This is not a problem at all, they need to cover their expenses, however, the problem is that this information is stated nowhere on the website and when you make reservations via phone no one tells you about the fee and this is not mentioned at the door either when you enter the restaurant. When we went there the first time, we went there after dinner, and we just wanted to enjoy some drinks and music, we did not know about the fee, so when we found out, we left. The manager told us that we should come back on a Friday, as Friday they don't have a cover fee and we can come to enjoy the music. We went last Friday and when we called the place, we asked about the cover fee to make sure we have the right information. We were ensured on the phone that this is a free night, but when we entered the place we noticed that there was a performer on stage and so we asked again if this was a special event and if there was a cover fee. We were ensured at the entrance and by the waitress at the table that there was no cover fee for the night. We ordered our drinks and enjoyed the evening (very lovely performances to be honest), and when we were getting ready to pay and leave, the waitress showed us the bill and we were each charged $35 for the table plus our drinks ($105 just for tables plus our drinks). We told them that we asked about the cover fee and we were ensured that the evening was free. The server was incredibly rude, and said that this is how they do it here, this is their system, she shushed us and told us that we cannot just order drinks here. We asked for the manager and after we explained the situation to her, she waived the additional cover charge. Her kindness definitely earned the place 1 star, but the misleading information they provided to us throughout the evening and the server's rude behaviour definitely turned this into a horrible experience. I hope they will learn from their mistakes and start providing accurate and more truthful information on their website and in person and unless they make that change, I would not recommend this...

Read moreI was looking forward to dining and celebrating my friend's b-day and it was a total disappointment. This is not a restaurant. Have that in mind before you go. No meal is served. It's a cheap version of a snack bar. We did not get any real food, or complimentary water. To top it all off, we cleaned up the tables and brought the dirty plates to their counter ourselves. If we needed something, such as water, we had to go to the counter and ask for it. Self-serve I guess. DETAILS: First and foremost, I was expecting to have dinner as I understand it to be: a meal. We were 15 people. What was served: a couple of small bowls with chips, hummus, something similar to hummus but whitish, and some salted nuts. Maybe ten shrimps and six stuffed grape leaves for the entire crew. Later in the night or past midnight, they brought I think two platters and each with the following: a few wedges, falafel (maybe six), three pita breads, some pieces of chicken, and less than a handful of olives. All this for 15 people! When the cake was served (brought by the b-day person), we had Dollarama-like plates and no utensils to eat the cake with. We requested, and requested and they finally brought some spoons. Back to the food: it was cold, and as if UberEats had not used appropriate container to keep the whatever was served somewhat decently hot. There's no way the food got that cold from the "kitchen" to our table. This must have been take out.
The overall ambiance of the place. It was very loud. VERY. Impossible to have a conversation. I and others left the place with a headache.
This was a mortifying experience that I will never go through again. I left the place hungry and with a headache. Never to return...
