Ziyafet Modern Turkish Cuisine — Restaurant in Toronto

Biggest thank you to Ziyafet for making me and my moms day, we came expecting regular service and food. We did not get that. Instead we got the most beautiful service from Mete, he was extremely courteous and polite from the very beginning, and as everything only got better as our lunch went on, he was spot on with all recommendations and offerings throughout the entire process as if he knew exactly what we needed, you could tell he genuinely wanted us to enjoy our experience and it showed. From the kindness, attentiveness, care in every detail, to the charming jokes the service really stood out to us both, from start to finish. The kicker was after we had left the restaurant and were having a smoke he told us to sit at table brought us an ashtray and offered us Turkish coffee to have with our cigarettes, not to sell but on the house, simply for us to be able to have the pleasure of the experience. Honestly the best service I’ve experienced in Toronto period, we were not just treated like customers but were given an experience. I’m a server myself and can confidently say mete outdid himself, made me want to implement his work and style of service into mine! And of course on top of everything the food is absolutely incredible, we got the mix platter for four people so we could take some home and the calamari and everything was delicious and the price was very reasonable considering the amount of food, quality, and effort in all dishes. Can confidently say this is the best Turkish restaurant that we’ve tried in Toronto for food, service, environment and hospitality. We celebrated my birthday today at this beautiful Turkish restaurant, and everything was truly exceptional. There were many guests, but the service was flawless from beginning to end. We especially want to thank Manolya, who impressed everyone with her responsibility and care. Despite the large number of people, she managed everything with a smile and professionalism. Everyone was pleased with her service — she truly deserves special thanks.

The entire evening was a success. The food was absolutely delicious — probably the best we’ve had among all the Turkish restaurants we’ve visited before. The atmosphere was warm and festive. We also enjoyed the live music and the singer, who performed continuously without a single playback track. It added a special charm to the evening.

We were also impressed by the management, who came by several times to check in and make sure everything was perfect. The place was clean, well-organized, and tastefully decorated. A Hidden Gem of Turkish Delight!

From the moment we stepped into this restaurant, we were blown away by the warm, inviting atmosphere, beautifully clean, tastefully decorated, and full of charm. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home.

Now let’s talk about the food, absolutely phenomenal! Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavor, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with love. From the tender, juicy kebabs to the fresh-out-the-oven pide and rich, flavorful mezzes, everything was spot on. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the presentation was flawless.

We finished with traditional Turkish tea and baklava, and wow. The baklava was perfectly crisp, not too sweet, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

On top of that, the staff were attentive and kind without being overbearing, and the entire space was immaculately clean, a true testament to how much care goes into every detail here.
