Hello, normally If I have a bad experience going to a restaurant I just don’t ever go back but I feel leaving a feedback was necessary as it may improve the business long term. Last night my wife and I went to the Dufferin/Finch location of St.Louis for 1/2 price Tuesday wing deal. It was my first time going to this location as we usually go to the one on Yonge St between Finch and Empress and after the food quality I had last night totally regret going to this location. Maybe it was a Tuesday and this location is trying to get rid of older wings but all my wings were burnt/overcooked and most of them looked like the ones you wouldn’t want to touch in a batch to eat, this is not the servers fault but higher management, strangely my Fries were a bit undercooked as well. The portion of 2lbs was definitely 1.5lb since I’m used to going to St.Louis every few weeks or so, I even saw my friend there last night and he agreed he had to order another 1lb to fill his hunger. I ordered 2lbs and got Garlic Parm and Honey Garlic. The Parm sauce didn’t smell the greatest and lack of sauce ratio was sadly disappointing, as a customer it feels like they are just trying to control costs. The Honey Garlic wasn’t enough sauce I had to ask for some more sauce on the side and that sauce tasted like a week old left in the fridge most likely very bland. The wings when I bit into them were all dark and this is because if you freeze chicken then cook it the blood will spill out visibly which is why the wings were so dark inside. Please don’t freeze your wings your customers know it’s just most people wont say anything. The Yonge location do not freeze their wings and are not cheap on the sauce ratio, if you ever go there you’ll agree with me. I hope this location gets better as the servers I saw were very hard working and it’s not their fault they get complaints...

Read moreOverall, this was a very mediocre experience compared to other St Louis I've been at.
Upon arrival, we were left standing helplessly in the middle of the room waiting for somebody to give us some direction. When it came, it was the minimal greeting and then "sit wherever you want".
We sat at the table then the waitress came over and asked if we had decided what we wanted. I said we need a menu, she directed us to the q r code on the table which doesn't work. All that happens is a blank white screen. I explained that to her when she returned and she provided a paper menu, then took our drink orders.
I had the Pina colada. Bit of a small serving compared to the usual, but it was delicious.
I wanted the rack and wings and specifically asked if there were alternatives to fries. She mentioned veggie sticks which I requested along with blue cheese dressing. I also ordered the half rack of ribs, and the chicken wings with Paala sauce, billed as five Flames, or the hottest level, above suicide sauce. It's suicide sauce mixed with chili lime.
When my meal came, it had fries, not veggie sticks. The fries were warm, the ribs were cold. If the sauce was their version of hotter than suicide, then the suicide was the equivalent of somebody jumping out a first-floor window. Not very hot at all. I mentioned the missing veggie sticks, and they were dropped on the table a few minutes later with a casual "sorry 'bout that" as she kept walking. My conclusion is that the meal had already been plated and had been sitting around for a while waiting for somebody to order it.
After we finished eating, we sat at the table for almost half an hour waiting for the bill. In the end we had to ask someone else for it.
I left a $10 tip because everybody needs help these days, but I wouldn't...
