Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Toronto

Honestly!!!! I just went In to order a sub! And the lady behind the counter wasn’t in the mood clearly..didn’t greet me or anything. So I ask her for an assorted sub she starts to prepare it. Everything goes down here from there! I asked her to kindly put tomatoes on the side and she rolled her eyes! I asked her is that a problem? And she responds, did I say that! I said well... your gesture about my request was not really friendly so I was just making sure. Then as she starts to prepare my food she’s slapping all my toppings on and just being so aggressive with my sub and that’s when I say please cancel my order and I start to walk away.

Then she proceeds to start screaming at me and calls me stupid. Lady, I don’t even think you know any form of business. You have to provide a service to get the money! It has to be done with respect as well. Clearly your husband has you working countless hours, and probably abuses you at home too. I understand as I can read the signs on your face (honours degree in justice studies)... but I’m stupid. I just asked for and sub...)

HOWEVER,

I work hard for my money and I didn’t come in to MAKE your day anymore stressful than it is! I came to EAT! I’m HUNGRY.

How dare you think I will spend my hard working money on a 10 dollar sandwich when it is being made with so much disrespect...and so much hostility.

I’m incredibly upset, I’m pregnant and come to this mrsub all the time. I order a large spicy breaded chicken sub, cheese, light lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and extra tomato. Which I ALWAYS offer and am willing to pay extra for, and NO SAUCES. I went in at approximately 8:20pm on my small break after vomiting all day, went out of my way because that’s the only thing I could stomach. The man behind the counter denied me extra tomatoes saying he doesn’t have enough while I was looking at an ENTIRE FULL container of tomatoes, in the empty store. Regardless of me saying I will pay however much he needs me to, he was very adamant that no I couldn’t have any more than the one serving. However, when my boyfriend went in and asked the exact same thing, he gave it to him. I’m very upset, what he did delayed me eating and ate up a lot of time on my break, causing me to be vomiting for the rest of my shift because I didn’t even have enough time to get back to work and finish my food. I really hope those tomatoes which are cents of the dollar are worth what you put me through sir, kindness is free and I was willing to pay. It felt honestly evil what he did, less than 2 hours to store close and this worker argued with a sick pregnant lady over a few slices of tomatoes while hoarding an entire silver container full.

If you like mr.sub READ THIS... Id give -10stars if possible. DO NOT go to the midland and lawrence location. (Fat old greasy indian guy) I walked into the midland and lawrence location 2hrs ago, at 8pm. Order a 6inch assorted. White bread. The fat man started making my food. We get past the vegetables, he puts a layer of meat down. Grabs the ham, but then needs to sneeze. He looks over his left shoulder sneezing into his left hand with a glove on. But then uses the hand he just sneezed into to grab the ham out of his other hand and put it on my sub.

I say "dude! You sneezed in your hand then touched my food." He claims he didnt and that he sneeze over his shoulder past his hand. (Which would be just as bad seeing how there is still food behind him and the means he sneezed into the air) I say "well im not paying for that, thats nasty!" I left. I go back in to get a card, but he dove at the cards and wouldnt let me take one. he started swearing at me. "F**k you, get out of my store" I asked him "why couldnt you have changed gloves before touching my food?" He tried to raise his hand at me and said "get out of the store." So I spit of the floor. The man tried to raise a knife from behind the counter but he let go of the handle just after grabbing it. He wanted to hold a knife at me but knew it wasnt going to play out good for him.
