Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Toronto

For me to post about a fast food chain it has to be for a specific reason.. And the sub I had last night was memorable for a positive reason. Everyone knows what to expect when you go to Mr. Sub vs Subway - my preference is the former as for me it has that classic 'sub' flavour. Got my usual assorted but this sub was bursting, it was so full of toppings, as in hard to pull out of the bag kind of full. It was so fresh. I noticed that they're putting freshly shredded cheese too which is nice but to be honest, I think I prefer the white processed cheese they used before.. I'm pretty sure it's still an option. Service was great. I ordered through Ritual (yay, points) and they apologized that it took longer than expected. They were busy! And they had 3 employees working that night. Friendly staff which makes such a big difference. Wish there were more Mr.Subs in my area than Subways but oh well.. Will be happy to continue going to this...

Honestly, I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Mr. Sub here today. I usually enjoy going to Mr. sub over Subway because I find the quality is usually better but not today. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken was very mushy and pasty. The veggies were very thin and looks like they were sitting since yesterday. The bread was very thin. Everything slid right off the sandwich, and the bread wasn’t cooked very well. it was still very doughy. I sat in to eat the sandwich. The employees never even gave me napkins. I couldn’t eat the sandwich. I ended up throwing it out and I left then I went to the gyro next-door. so much better quality of food for a fraction of the cost. I got a gyro with fries and a Coke for $12. I definitely won’t...

Sometimes you just have to go old school, and so I go to the original chain...Mr. Sub...a couple of times a year. This location is near to my home so I usually go here. I have always found the place to be clean and friendly, including the service personnel. Subs are always made neatly and efficiently and I have never had a complaint about the quality of any of the ingredients. There are a number of tables in the store, Parking is on the street and I would call this location wheelchair accessible, including the washroom. Prices at Mr. Sub are usually a little cheaper than at the...
