Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Toronto

This place doesnt comprehend delivery apps, so do no order from one of the popular apps. I ordered with a delivery service. Ordered a BLT and added Onions on the app with Mayo.

It finally comes, and because I didn't write Bacon Lettuce and Tomato as a topping, they just put bacon and cheese with onions.. because I added extra back and cheese.

When i called them, they said its because I did not write to add the typically toppings on a BLT. This is mind boggling how they expect that you list all the topping that comes on the sandwich you are ordering.

Its a BLT, its implied that it comes with bacon, Lettuce, and tomatoe... and I add toppings, like every ordering system in the world.

I contacted the delivery service app company and they absolutely agreed and refunded me my money. Once again, like everyone, they expected the same process for ordering... But the person I spoke with on the call would not listen and kept cutting me off saying how Im wrong.

I pray for some one who order a Premium sub and they expect them to list out that a Club comes with 6 toppings to start.

If they just sent me a correct sandwich afterward, this could have been avoided.

I immediately tossed this in the trash...

Same great Mr Sub. I appreciate how they keep their original classic subs with the same flavour and taste from 40 yrs ago. This is one of the few locations that is open late. They are very friendly here and quick to serve you . The place is super clean , albeit long in the tooth. Hasn't been renovated since probably it opened ! At night it has those horrid fluorescent lights that do not evoke a comforting feeling. If all they did was get rid of those lights and added a half dozen full colour and bright hanging led lamp lights, it would improve the atmosphere and feeling of the place by 100 percent. Would feel more welcoming and probably make the place feel and look newer. I still recommend this place in spite of the lighting. I just feel they would probably attract more customers, especially more...

Just left the place as the guy making subs was terribly rude, disrespectful and not at all courteous .He really wanted to super rush us and it was very uncomfortably to request him to make a sub with our choice. We left the place as we didn’t want to argue with him and didn’t take the remaking order of 4 subs. Mr. Sub is great brand but highly rude: disrespectful service like this spoils the reputation of the brand and location. The manager should look at the CCTV footage to see how assertive and rude his body language was and how calm I was with him. Date and time of visit - 11:40 PM- November 30, 2023. Never visiting this location...
