I ordered three cakes from Nakd Treats. The first cake was for a "thank you" for my real estate agent and it was a beautiful chocolate strawberry cake. It was so perfectly made and I was told it was very delicious and not over powering with the chocolate. The second cake was for my "new house" for my husband and I. It was a vanilla/chocolate/strawberry cake. You could tell there was so much love put into baking and decorating the cake. There were no flaws and the strawberries were so fresh. It was also the best cake I've ever had. I am not a fan of icing, but the way Nakd Treats made it, was beyond perfection, not one drop of cake left on my plate. After a great cake experience, I knew Nakd Treats had to make my mini Covid 19 wedding cake. She went over and beyond to make sure it had everything I wanted and even delivered it to me. It was a blue marble strawberry shortcake and it was gone in seconds! My friends and family really enjoyed it and I am happy I was able to save a piece to freeze to eat on my first anniversary. The thing that really impressed me was her honestly. It was a super hot day, so working with fondant is not ideal. She called me and explained that the fondant was being tricky to deal with because of the heat wave, so I could not pick it up that night. So instead, she offered to finish the cake at night once it cooled down a bit and delivered it to me right in the morning the nest day. I am so glad I got to meet and learn how to create not only a beautiful chocolate coated drip cake but I am so glad it was with Nakd Treats beautiful creator, Stav. She was an excellent teacher. She was so patient and guided me in making sure I was satisfied with the end result of the cake. Her chocolate buttercream and ganache are honestly to die for. From cakes I’ve tried before from other bakers, it’s either the appearance is good and the taste slacks quality or vice-versa, but with Stav’s products, it excels at both. I’m glad you taught today’s class. I got the best of both world-a cake decorating lesson and a beautiful cake to take home. BEST BAKER IN TORONTO HANDS DOWN! I made a last minute order for my birthday, which she generously accepted and was extremely sweet and accommodating, considering how short notice it was. She executed everything I wanted to perfection and went beyond what I had originally envisioned for my cake.
