I have been availing the tiffin service from Mirchi Dhaba for quite some time now, and I must say, it has been an absolute delight. The restaurant truly captures the essence of Punjabi cuisine with their mouthwatering dishes and impeccable service.
First and foremost, I would like to commend the hardworking team at Mirchi Dhaba. The girls working in the restaurant are a true asset to the establishment. Their dedication and commitment to providing the best service possible are evident in every interaction. Despite the restaurant being busy, they manage to deliver exceptional customer service with a smile. It is truly admirable to witness their professionalism and work ethic.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! Mirchi Dhaba has undoubtedly mastered the art of Punjabi cuisine. The flavors, spices, and authenticity of their dishes are beyond compare. One dish that stands out for me is their Shahi Paneer. The richness and creaminess of the gravy, paired with perfectly cooked paneer, create a culinary masterpiece. Each bite is a burst of flavors that takes me on a journey through the vibrant streets of Punjab.
Furthermore, the tiffin service provided by Mirchi Dhaba is top-notch. The food is always delivered on time, hot, and in hygienic packaging. They pay great attention to detail, ensuring that the tiffin boxes are well-packed and sealed to maintain the freshness of the food. It is evident that they prioritize customer satisfaction and take pride in their service.
Overall, I can confidently say that Mirchi Dhaba is a hidden gem for Punjabi cuisine enthusiasts. From their flavorful dishes to the hardworking team and impeccable tiffin service, they exceed expectations on every level. I highly recommend experiencing the culinary delights of Mirchi Dhaba, and I am grateful for the dedication and passion they put into their work.

Read moreAbsolutely disappointed with this place. My friend hyped up their Pav Bhaji, so we drove all the way from Bowmanville to try it, expecting something amazing.
When ordering, the staff told us they needed to check with the chef, then came back saying they could only serve two. Fine, we thought, at least we’ll finally get to try this hyped-up dish. After waiting 15 minutes, what we got was not Pav Bhaji. It smelled and tasted like pickle. It was edible, but definitely not what we were expecting.
After eating what we could, we decided to pack the rest and give honest feedback. I politely told the staff (the lady with lenses) that the Pav Bhaji wasn’t good, speaking in a very low tone to avoid disrupting other customers. At first, she ignored me. When I mentioned it again and suggested she inform the chef, her response was shocking. She dismissed my feedback by saying, “It must not be according to South Indians,” and claimed it had a Punjabi touch.
This was completely uncalled for and borderline discriminatory. For the record, Punjabi Pav Bhaji is one of my favorites, and I’ve had the best in Chandigarh. What you served was not it. It was a pickle-flavored mess that you slapped together because you clearly ran out of proper ingredients.
Instead of showing humility or addressing the feedback professionally, your staff chose to insult me and my preferences. A simple, “Sorry for that, we’ll do better next time,” would have sufficed, but instead, they doubled down on rudeness.
The lack of professionalism, humility, and basic respect for patrons is appalling. If you want cheap food and cheaper treatment, this is the place for you....
Read moreExtremely spicy, non authentic, tasteless food!! Worst samosas no flavour other then 10 times the chilli needed to be., small samosas, no flavour at all. Would not go for flavour here!! The lady could not be more unprofessional, disrespectful & inconsiderate about serving. She serves worst amount of food. Nobody wants her to serve by counting every drop of gravy/ daal & every grain of rice. Worst unprofessional person at serving desk. The man & daughter on the other hand are okay. But here is the main thing 1. The food is extremely spicy. 2. Nothing is authentic flavourful wise. It's a north indian speciality but here it's over killed with grainy seeds and over done with unnecessary amount of whole spices taking it away from simplicity and authentic flavour. Daal makhni is the only thing that can be called okay. Rice is okay. Yellow daal, a simple delicacy ruined by excessive red chilli flakes & other overly used whole spices ( I could not believe I was tasting yellow lentil). Mix veg does not have any pleasant flavor either. Over killed taste in everything. The food is consistently flavorless, overkill, extremely spicy. Wish I can a minus 5 star. Food is a pleasure & resturants should respect what people are paying for. Many Good restaurants serve good food irrespective of their kitchen sizes. eg: food trucks. Dum pukht, Tandoori flame, Brar's , Moti mahal are few restaurants serving authentic & flavourful food with great service everytime. The best part chef knows flavours & always follows the instructions & results are delightful!! Micrh masala restaurant however serves tasteless , overspiced food....
