Delivery Drivers: Avoid This Restaurant
If you’re a delivery driver who shops and delivers orders, I strongly advise you to think twice before accepting from this restaurant. I recently completed a Costco order for them totaling over $200 and weighing more than 200 pounds — including heavy cases of water, cooking oil and cold items that I stored in my personal insulated totes (while in the store and during delivery).
Despite the size and effort required, the tip left through the app was just $1. That amount was entered at the time of order placement and never adjusted — not even after delivery was completed. For context, I’ve been delivering with Uber for nearly 10 years, and this level of disregard is both disappointing and offensive.
Throughout the process, I attempted to communicate multiple times through the app and by calling — no response. When I arrived, no one came to the side door as instructed, and I eventually called their landline to notify them the delivery was left at the side entrance (even though I didn’t have to, I did so because there were cold items sitting outside). Not even one word of thanks or appreciation from the person who finally answered the phone.
This review is not about the food or the business itself — it’s about the complete lack of respect for the person handling your delivery. It’s absolutely shameful if you’re placing a large, labor-intensive order and don’t intend to tip appropriately, please understand the message that sends to hard-working drivers.
Frankly, even fast food customers tip better than this. Never again will I shop and deliver for your restaurant.
Perhaps you should ask your servers how they’d feel after going above and beyond for a customer, only to be left with a $1 tip. If your own customers started doing that to your staff, maybe you’d understand where I’m coming from.
EDIT: I have reported your establishment to Uber and have asked them to block you from my account. What your business did by adding a $1 upfront tip on a 200lb order was not only insulting but also deeply disrespectful. To then question my professionalism on top of that is unacceptable. My review reflects the experience accurately, and I stand by it as both...
Read moreAs a couple who love to walk along the Beaches area, we’ve always made a point to support small local businesses as they come and go. No Bull has remained standing and so we finally decided to try it … and it was a major letdown.. maybe one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in the neighborhood.
I ordered the Big Cheese Smash Burger. For $15+, I expected something bold and satisfying. Instead, it was dry, flavourless, and came with just a single slice of cheese. The patty was thin to the point of being laughable, and the whole thing reminded me of something you’d get at Wendy’s.
My wife went with the Quinoa Burger, and I had warned her ahead of time… don’t do it….. and unfortunately, I was right. It was so bad we ended up stopping for McDonald’s after. That $12 veggie burger wasn’t worth even $6
We also shared cheesy fries, which were neither warm nor cheesy. The artificial nacho style cheese had that cheap, plasticky taste and definitely not what you’d expect for the price. To wash it all down, we looked for a refreshing drink, but their alcohol selection was basic and disappointing. Honestly, maybe the food would’ve been easier to stomach with a better drink menu.
The service was slow and the cramped space with loud background noise made ordering feel chaotic. After walking past this place for years and finally giving it a shot, now we understand why we hadn’t tried it sooner.
There is nothing No Bull about this place. It’s all hype and no substance. Support local, absolutely, but do yourself a favour and support...
Read moreFormer loyal customer, rude server, review your bill before you PAY! Scam!
Used to go here all the time in elementary/high school and loved it! A loyal customer my entire life, however, today my parents had a TERRIBLE service/experience. The server would not let my parents look at the bill to select their tip (we ALWAYS tip and love supporting our community, but we would love to choose how much we DO tip). When inquiring about the 25% tip added, the server WALKED AWAY from them into the kitchen. My parents explained they did not get to put in their tip and the server GASLIT them by saying they did in fact click the button (they were never PHYSICALLY given the machine and only able to TAP their card from the servers hands). Very UNPROFESSIONAL. Once again we always tip especially these days but 25% to a rude server is unacceptable (payment was given before the meal). Personally, I don’t think this attitude would have happened if my parents weren’t people of colour, because she was able to get away with it. I only mention being a person of colour because the SAME INCIDENT happened to our neighbour (person of colour) and we were only able to share our experience after coming home and discussing it.
This review is simply so customers are aware of this type of scam from such a nostalgic community establishment. I grew up eating here and am so disappointed. I hope management is aware of this...
