The Oxtail & Curry Goat dinners were excellent. The Curry chicken was unique as I had never had chick peas in Curry Chicken before. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the atmosphere was nice - if I wasn't on my home, at the times I visited, I would definitely sit down and eat there. The Curry Chicken and Curry Goat seemed to use a different blend of curry, making the two dishes distinctive from each other. A lot of other restaurants seem to use the same curry blend for everything. Either the owner buys an A1 class of goat meat, or he spends time trimming every single cut, as there was no grissle fat or sinew - things Goat meat is known to have in spades. The dishes I tried, thus far, seemed to be seasoned to accommodate a wide variety of pallets as none was too hot nor overpowering.    Read moreUpdate: I tried the Rasta Pasta and that was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in quite some time. It took about 20 mins but depending on how busy Chris is it might take a little longer. Will be coming back to try the rest of the menu.
Chris made me one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. When I talk about fall off the bone chicken. This is the place to go to - owner gave me half Barbi-Fried and half jerk. Both were amazing the sauce is finger licking good - got a large and it’s more than enough for two people but I was not willing to share my food. If you want to support local and have a great meal stop by this newly opened restaurant for Authentic Jamaican cuisine. Will be coming back to try...
Read moreTried this amazing restaurant. 3 of us chose different dinners. Oxtail, Jerk Chicken and the BBQ chicken. All 3 options were delicious. BBQ chicken was amazing and had an amazing crisp to it; even though it had a tangy sauce, it still had what I would call a bark; it was delicious. I had the Oxtail, it was cooked perfectly, and the gravy was on point. Rice and peas with gravy were excellent. I would have a hard time deciding what to order next time between the dishes. The Jerk chicken was fire, literally and figuratively. Nice family-owned ( I think ), regardless, lovely folks. Priced properly IMO. Good value. Welcome addition to the Kingston Road Village. Can't wait to eat there again....
