Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Toronto

I have been ordering from Osmow’s for over three years, both in-store and on Uber Eats, and I always go to this specific location because the food and service have been great until now.

I visited around 4:40 AM to order chicken on the stix. Normally, the staff ask about all the options — veggies, pickles, garlic or tahini sauce, and the spice level — so I can customize my meal. This time, the lady at the counter only asked about the spice level. When I had to bring up the veggies myself, she gave me a look and reluctantly went through the options. She still didn’t ask me about sauce choices, and her attitude throughout was unfriendly and unprofessional. I had to ask her everything like Iam partially doing her job.

When I received my food, the garlic sauce was barely there — the dish was dry — and the hot sauce level was clearly above medium, even though I specifically ordered medium. I’ve been eating here long enough to know the difference in spice levels, and this was far too spicy to eat. I ended up having to throw it away.

Given the way she acted and the mistakes with my order, it felt intentional, which is unacceptable from a customer service perspective. I’ve always enjoyed this location, but after this experience, I’m not sure I...

Once upon a time, this location used to be good. Now they play very loud punjabi music. The staff didn’t know how to take the order. I was stopped midway while placing the order, because the two women working overnight started playfully hitting each other and laughing ? When I told them that I’m not done with the order, she tells me, “don’t worry about your toppings, I’ll just make it to order.”

Then when it’s being prepared, they skimmed on the meat (More than half of what it is supposed to be). And then when I asked for my toppings, I’m blamed by the worker for not ordering it before… “you only wanted veggies!” “Please pay for it!” I said, “no problem, I’ll pay. But I tried ordering it before and you refused to take the order problem.” Then I’m told, “no it is you who didn’t order”

Excuse me ? I never even made a full request because you’re too busy fooling around behind the counter.

Then when I asked them to cancel the order, they say, I don’t know how to operate the machine, please just take whatever toppings you want. Is this joke ? I had to wait longer for my refund than it takes to...

This location is worst in toronto. Whenever i am coming for shwarma they are giving cold always. Also i visited here few days ago the staff is very rude. I have been knowing them from last few months. Once they are taking order always most of the employees are in rush. Also their oil is very dirt and black i asked them about fries they told me its new. But when i saw it was clearly black. Also they have same fryer for chicken and veggie. Other osmows are having separate fryer. Employees also dont change gloves while making falafal. Please go to different osmows i wont recommend this to anyone. They dont care about customers now previously employees were very nice and disciplined. Now they just want to finish the customers order no matter what. Their wrapping style presentation all is very worse. Also the space is very less as compare to others. There are cockroaches and few insects in store which is not acceptable 🙏🙏.
