Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Toronto

Keep on messing up on online order. Fix your screens to show workers what to put in a wrap and what's extra. Coz extras are paid for, so mg how difficult is it to to have at least somewhat if a quality standard?!...

Been meaning to edit review for a very long time. Been going there every now and then. Every time I go there, I order extra sauce and pay for it which is totally fine. But its been over 3 times in the row that they disregard any extras (seems the opposite, like they purposely disregard extra notes, or they just don't like me idk). My review before was solid 4 coz food is fine, but now I'll definitely prefer other location. Its been too many times they won't give any regards to orders and extras paid for. Meh. Thumbs down 👎 Edited review #3. Once again tried the place again now mid December. Asked for extra sauce, paid for it. Guess what, got the driest, feels like on purpose tbh. Now I feel this place doesn't like me personally. So unfortunate considering some other locations do such a better job but further away. Edited again 2021. As always I order shawarma wrap with extra sauce. Whomever makes it, brakes it in front if me (which is fine I understand) and uses new wrap to fix it (which is great actually), but onion is the only extra what the new wrap gets, not sauce that was paid for, not lattuce or tomato or anything.. Just new wrap and super extra onion. Could it be cheaper.. not sure. Again, this location is as always disappointing unfortunately. Not horrible, just so disappointing again and again. Only thing is asked was extra sauce every time. And wow how can you f that up i don't know. Thats why its still 1 star. I'll keep on going there occasionally to see hopefully I can change this...

Hi Osmow’s on Pond Road, is the $15 you charge not enough for the dry fries and extra dry chicken you sell? You need us to pay more for an extra squeeze of garlic sauce?

In my humble opinion, your meat, rice and fries are always dry, sometimes even stale and don't taste like much. Your serving portions have also reduced to half since you opened shop. The meat is never cooked on the gyros grill, its always cutup and fried on the flat grill. Why even have the gyros grill then? Why call it shawarma meat?

The only thing that brings flavour and moisture to your food is the half decent garlic sauce but you choose to be stingy with that and make people pay more for it. Thats pathetic business.

My experience yesterday: I felt the server hadn’t put enough garlic sauce on my order and asked if she could add more; then I got rudely told on how I should pay for it when I place my order the next time… I doubt there’l be a next time.

Do you even consider your reviews here? You have multiple bad reviews and pretty much every one of them are answered with some sort of template reply. Your food quality and service when you first opened was better but since then its gone bad to worse.

Substandard food and...

This has to be the slowest osmows I have ever been too. I was the only person in line and had to wait several minutes for my order to be taken. After I placed my order I was told they’re only taking cash. You’d think they would tell you something like that beforehand. Waited another 10 minutes for my food, making me late for where I needed to be. When I finally got there, I checked the bag and saw that they didn’t give me my drink nor did they put any cutlery in the bag. I got chicken in the rocks - did they think I could eat it with my hands? Ended up having to throw it out. Complete waste of time and money - id definitely avoid this place and go to any of the other great places around here.

EDIT: I have seen this generic response to other reviews - and people are saying that the number just puts you through to the same staff who will then refuse to let you speak with the owner/manager and make you address the issue with them instead. So no thanks - you guys already wasted enough of my time I’m not interested in...
