Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Toronto

I was the only person in line… My first experience to order at Osmow’s Yorkdale Mall Foodcourt - I ordered a Chicken Saj wrap, wanted to pay, but the guy said to wait until the order was done, so I sat at my table just a few steps away… Three minutes later, I went back to see what’s going on because the line was building up and the guy who took my order said it’s not ready, so I waited back on my table for another 5 minutes… I went back, and he started to make a wrap not thinking it was mine… Unfortunately, a person in line said he was there first because I stood by the front of the cashier asking for my order, so I explained to him that I was just waiting for my order while looking at the guy who took my order; he finished and handed me the wrap after 3 more minutes - he looks like he’s in limbo! I was kind of pissed, ordered an apple juice, and paid over $16 for BEEF Saj wrap instead of my original CHICKEN order that has hardly any filling… Holy crap, it tasted horrible and I literally just threw it in the garbage! Never ever going to Osmow’s or any Osmow’s! Too bad I didn’t take a picture of it!

I had a really bad experience at Osmow’s recently. I went with my friends, and first, they told me they didn’t have enough falafel, so I said okay, I’ll wait. After waiting about 10–15 minutes, they finally started preparing my wrap. Everything was going fine until the end when the staff member completely broke the wrap.

At that point, I expected a fresh one would be made, but instead, she transferred all the toppings and sauces into a new wrap. I still stayed calm and thought, “At least she fixed it.” She even asked me if I wanted to add anything else, and I said no — I was okay with it. But unfortunately, she broke the second wrap too 😔.

Guys, we understand restaurants can get busy, but if we’re paying, we at least expect properly made food. I literally couldn’t eat that wrap properly, it was falling apart and messy. Really disappointed.

As a customer who enjoys Osmow’s shawarma I am deeply saddened by the fact that after ordering take out on Monday September 9, I unfortunately got food poisoning up until now.

I am most definitely certain that this location’s the culprit because I have families members that I shared meals with beforehand and they were fine. I ordered the monday special lamb on the rocks with salad as well as a beef on the rocks.

I came into this store at around 8 pm looking forward to a meal with my girlfriend before closing but all we got was poisoning that has almost lasted a week.

This is a warning to fellow Osmow’s customers that you have to be careful going to this location for it might leave you in a very traumatizing experience. I’m not looking for any type of compensation but for the head office of Osmow’s to increase their quality control so that future customers won’t...
