Oyabong Sushi — Restaurant in Toronto

The atmosphere, service, presentation, and food were all really great. We've come back many times over several months, and they have been very consistent. We've tried many different items and they have all been great, but I think my favorite is the caterpillar roll or any items with BBQ eel.

We have also tried takeout multiple times and they were just as good. The orders are ready and waiting by the time estimates they give, and the food is at appropriate temperatures when opened. Everything was packaged and presented well. The staff are always very nice. There is really nothing I can complain...

Not particularly a sushi lover, but this place made me fall in love with sushi!! Ordered shrimp tempura appetizer, 2 hand-rolls, lobster tail roll, and unagi donburi. Every plate was just perfect and beautiful presentation too. All ingredients are very fresh and I couldn’t taste fishy smell/taste from any of them! My favorite was spicy salmon hand roll. I could taste the spicy sauce was not like the ordinary spicy salmon sauce what other sushi places use and I looove it. Definitely will...

As a (self-appointed) amateur sushi connoisseur, I’d like to think that I know good sushi from bad. Decided to try this place tonight as it is a new addition to the neighbourhood. Honestly, it was great!! The only flaw was the seaweed salad (which was a bit frozen, but not inedible). Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared and presented, and delicious; the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. I will absolutely go back again. Definitely worth trying if you love...
