My wife and I revisited Ozzy’s Burgers after 2 years on Tuesday August 19 2025. Our first time experiencing Ozzy’s was wonderful. The food was amazing and above all the service was great where the owner himself came to greet us and thanked us for coming. It was a warm, inviting and friendly atmosphere where their burgers and tenders were superb.
We haven’t had the chance to revisit Ozzy’s since our first encounter and decided to do so for my birthday.
We came with feeling of excitement and joy, salivating for their burgers. However, we were met with a huge disappointment as soon as we ordered to a very very rude staff who was taking our order. At first I was taken aback with how rude she was responding to my wife. She was very what some would describe as “dry” - unpleasant, impolite and just really disrespectful what with her hand gestures and eye contact when taking our order. What really upset me was when my wife asked her about some of the menu choices and opted to order a 3rd item (tenders as we had already ordered 2 burgers) - she had the audacity to roll her eyes back at the mention of another item we wanted to order to which I could only assume is because it would be more work for her? Or maybe she presumed we wouldn’t finish it all and we ordered too much? (FYI we finished all 3 meals while we were there).
We then proceeded to order 2 drinks, making one of the burgers a combo meal. She proceeded to be very rude and disrespectful when asking if we wanted to make both burgers or just 1 of them as a combo. Seeing how rude she was to my wife I raised my voice out of frustration (which I rarely do) to explain we just wanted 1 of those burgers to be a combo and for the other to be by itself.
I was very very appalled by this women’s customer service. After we sat down waiting for our mean and while I was trying to listen to my wife in calming down and enjoying the rest of my birthday lunch, the woman brought over our food and slammed the trays on the table without saying anything. Yes, slammed the trays down and slid it across the table to us as if she was feeding some dogs.
At this point I was just flabbergasted and I didn’t even choose to say anything. My wife and I both agreed she was so impolite and disrespectful so much so that it ruined our whole meal and day. We’ve decided that we will NEVER, and I mean NEVER come back to Ozzy’s Burgers again. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire life in when going out to eat. The food was still delicious but not quite as it was 2 years ago and I cannot tell if it’s because of the service and the way we were treated or if the quality of the food just went down. It’s a bit of both but I fear it’s more so the former if I’m being completely honest.
I never write google reviews but this bothered us - so much nearly a week later I opted to voice our concerns to the public. Please stay away from this horrible, mean, and just awful woman and don’t let her ruin your day and experience as she’s done us. What was once a beautiful and worthwhile going establishment for what I truly believed was the best burger in town is now truly the worst culinary and dining experience...
Read moreSub par. If I could have rated at 2.5 stars I would. The food was pretty good for the most part, but the service was not. I would prefer TopGun Steak over Ozzys. The stuffed Portobello mushroom was not good, if you're looking for one they're better at TG. The cheese in it seems cheap and fake like Kraft cheese slices. The beef burger was fantastic, the chicken strips were dry. The Ozzys sauce was ok, the vegetable toppings in the sandwiches were fresh and juicy. The pineapple in the burger was a beautiful touch and perfectly executed. The fries are good, but the poutine is a fail. The gravy has an odd curry taste, but the main downfall of the poutine is the cheese curds. They are processed cheese with not much flavour.
The main issue here was the service. At check out they take your name for the order, and do not give a receipt. I ordered last at our table, and got my order first. Since we sat down after ordering, our table had 4 separate orders, there had been 2 or 3 couples ordering after us. Two of them got their orders before us, including them getting some of the same burgers we had ordered. At least two of them. The main issue was them coming out and not knowing who had ordered what, them just asking who had ordered this. The second person to order at our table got his order at least 10 minutes after the rest of us, and there was nothing special about this order. Also, if you love table trays, this is your place. They bring a tray for every food item, including sides, and are confused when you ask them to take the empty trays away when your table is already full of them. It's possible that most of this confusion was caused by the girl taking orders, but there were multiple people delivering orders so I do not think so. Also it was not that busy, there were about 5 people working, with maybe 10 customers, most of whom were already eating. Maybe it's different when Ozzy is there but I'm not sure I would go back to find out. I would just go back to...
Read moreTHIS PLACE ISNT BAD, BUT IM GIVING IT A 2 STAR RATING MAINLY BC OF HOW RUDE THE EMPLOYEES/OWNER(S) WERE.
SERVICE 1/5 I CAME IN, AND SAID HELLO! THERES A MAN STANDING BY THE RESTAURANT WINDOWS. DOESNT SAY ANYTHING. I THEN ASSUMED HE WAS A CUSTOMER WAITING. THERE WAS A GUY IN THE BACK OPEN KITCHEN. THE GUY BY THE WINDOW THEN WALKED OVER BEHIND THE COUNTER WHILE I LOOKED THROUGH THE MENU.
WHEN I WAS READY TO ORDER, I LOOKED UO, AND SAID "HELLO" AGAIN.
WAITED ABOUT 20-30 SECONDS, AND HE JUST SAYS YES?
D- CUSTOMER SERVICE RATING HERE.
I PLACE MY ORDER AND HE CASHED ME OUT. I TIPPED $5 ANYWAYS FOR OUR 2 BURGERS ($30, SO $35 TOTAL) QUITE STEEP FOR 2 BURGERS IMO. HE TURNS AWAY AND I ASKED NICELY, "SORRY HOW LONG WOULD THIS TAKE?" AND HE SAYS 15 MINUTES. STRAIGHT FACE. NO SMILE. NO TJANK YOU. NOTHING.
STILL A D- RATING HERE..
I LEFT AND CAME BACK TO PICK UP MY FOOD. HE HANDED ME THE BAG, I SAID "THANK YOU!" AND HE JUST HEKD THIS FAKE ROBITIC LIKE GRIN ON HIS FACE. THE EMPLOYEE IN THE KITCHEN SHOUTED BACK, "THANK YOU" AS I LEFT. HIS "THANK YOU" IS THE ONLY REASON WHY IM RATING THEM 2 STARS.
FOOD 3/5 I WAS EXPECTING A MIND BLOWING EXPERIENCE FOR A $15 BURGER.
THEY DEFINITELY HAVE INTERESTING AND UNIQUE TOPPINGS FOR THEIR BURGERS HERE! LIKE A GIANT CHEESE STUFFED MUSHROOM CAP, FRIED BLOCK OF CHEESE, BREADED CHKN TENDERS (YA, THEY GO ONTOP OF THE BEEF PATTY!) AND THICK-CUT FRIED ONION RINGS!
WE HAD THE HOLY CHEESUS (FRIED BLOCK OF CHEESE) & ADDED BACON! WE ALSO ORDERED THE CIAO BELLO PORTOBELLO (CHEESE STUFFED PORTOBELLO CAP, BREADED AND FRIED)! OVERALL THE BURGERS WERE GOOD! JUICY! BUT THE STAR INGREDIENT, THE BEEF PATTY ITSELF LACKED A LOT OF FLAVOUR. A SPRINKLE OF S/P AT THE END WOULD'VE BEEN NICE? OR CHOP SOME ONIONS & GARLIC AND MIX IT IN W.THE PATTY?
IN THE END, WE WERE QUITE FULL. DOUBT ID COME BACK TO TRY THE OTHER BURGERS, UNLESS THEY CHANGE UP THE BEEF PATTY BURGER ITSELF. QUITE BLAND.
I LIKE RUDYS BETTER BECAUSE THEIR PATTY IS DONE...
