Food was good but service was terrible! Even though the food was good, we will not go back to this location.

• I ordered a raspberry lemonade and when I received it, there was no raspberry in it at all. When I asked the server about it, she said it was there, so I thought maybe I'm just losing my mind and my taste buds were not working. After my friends tasted the drink and could not taste any raspberry, I asked another server about the drink, and they confirmed that they ran out of the raspberry syrup. Had they told me ahead of time I would not have had any issue with it, but why lie to me?

• When our main dishes came out, one of the lamb chop dinners was served to us completely charred. The other lamb chop dinner was cooked well. Why would the kitchen serve two of the same dishes where one was so burnt that it was black? This was sent back and we had to wait for them to cook another one which came out much better.

• For dessert we ordered 3 Arabic Ice Creams. The menu describes this dish as follows: A creamy blend of mastic, orange blossom water, and roasted pistachio ice cream on a bed of vanilla Arabic cotton candy and ground pistachios. None of our orders had the Arabic cotton candy in it. We asked the server about this, and she said that she needed to go and speak with someone about it (she expressed to us that she was new). She never came back to talk to us! I followed up with another server who told us that head office had discontinued the Arabic cotton candy with this dish. To address the omission, they had provided us with two scoops of the ice cream instead. Again, why would the service not tell us this at the beginning? When we also asked why the first server hadn't come back to tell us this we were told that "she's new and doesn't really know". If that was truly the case, then why did the second server not take the initiative to inform us herself instead of us having to follow up?

My friends and I have all worked in the service industry at one point or another. We understand that sometimes certain things are out of our control, like running out of stock. Just had the worst experience at Paramount on August 15, 2020 at 4:30pm at the location of Victoria Park and Sheppard Ave E. They don’t even deserve one star. My family and I came into the restaurant to do take out. After ordering we decided to dine in. The manager and staff forgot how to serve and respect customers since stage 3 of reopening (dinning in the restaurant).

When we ordered our food, we did not ask for any drinks or water. When they were serving the food, a server brought bottled waters. We thought because of COVID, the precaution they are taking is serving bottled water instead of tap water in a glass as the server did not say anything either.

While eating, the servers did not come to our table once to see if we needed anything even though the restaurant had a few customers and was not busy. Anything we needed we had to go to the server to ask them for it. The AC was really high, within a couple minutes our food got cold.

Once again to get my bill, I had to go to the servers to ask them for it. Turns out I ended up asking the manager himself for the bill. On the bill I saw 4 bottled waters for $8.00. We live in Ontario, why would I pay for water when tap water is perfectly fine for my family and I?

I told the manager that we did not ask for water at all. The server came and gave us the water herself. The manager did not believe me so he called his sever who had just finished her shift and left. She said she brought 3 bottled waters to the table and my son said we are 4 people so he asked for one more. The fact is we did not ask for bottled water to begin with. At least give us the option of tap vs bottled water!

The manager was every unprofessional and disrespectful to me and said he could not take off the charge for the water even though we did not ask for it.

I wish i had the option to give negative stars. I normally go to the don mills location as the staff over there is excellent but this time when i went there the manager said that they closed early as they have an inspection at that time. He was very apologetic bot not taking us in but asked us to go to the Victoria and sheppard location. Now talking bot this location. We reached victoria location sharp at 9:13 pm and the restaurant was open till 10 pm still the lady who attended us firstly made a weird face that why we came at this time and then rudely told us that we only have 20 mins to give the order and we have to pay first so she can cash out and get done with her job. Don mills location always give us complimentary fries along with the platter but when we asked this lady the same she clearly refused tht we dont give fries for free and this is Scarborough location not don mills location. Well Paramount is paramount doesnt matter if its in don mills or Scarborough. You should be liable of providing neck to neck service. And the huge blunder they made. We ordered mixed platter and they made the bbq platter which we never ordered. And she is like would you like to eat bbq platter instead and i can refund you for the missing chicken. I was literally shook with what she was saying. Why in the world we will change our order on her say. If we ordered mixed platter we should get mixed platter. And like always she took the platter away with angry face even though it was there fault. I was expecting tht she will leave the platter there n bring the chicken part separately but whatever. And then i found a single hair in one of meat piece.

Honestly if i want to go paramount i will only go to don mills location coz the staff there is honestly very nice. But this was the worst...
