I love the vibe of this place so much. It's so friendly and unexpectedly spacious on the inside. (it's so easy to forget since the storefront is so small and you can't really see in)... Woodhouse lager, left field Brewery and other great options available on tap. Bartender was super knowledgeable about how the beers taste too! (which is weird to say...but not super common lately in the neighbourhood lol)

No food, but seem flexible on bringing in a pizza or the like. :) Washrooms are downstairs but the seating is wheelchair accessible!

(I only docked a star because I don't have the stomach for pee smelly washrooms typical of any dive bar anymore) EDIT: PEE SMELL HAS BEEN LOOKED AFTER!!! 5 STARS YALL!!

I was introduced to Penny's a few months back and could not be happier to have found such an inviting bar to frequent. They have great entertainment. They have karaoke, an open mic night and feature local bands. The crowd is friendly and welcoming, the owner Olivia has definitely ensured this is a safe place for her patrons. Her staff is wonderful. Hawco and Lukas and James are such friendly and outgoing bartenders, attentive and skilled, making their guests happy with their great service!
