I came back to rate down this restaurant. I always ordered to-go and today was the first time that I dined in. The staff was nice and attentive, but one of our food took so long to come out. The flavours were just average and I could taste a lot of MSG in my dish. The disappointing part was the interaction with the owner when I came to pay for our meal at the counter. He said that he didn’t accept the American Express card. When I was trying to pay with my visa card, my Apple pay with the Amex card was automatically paid and went through. He was pretty upset about that fact and said to me ‘ I told you not to pay with Amex, why did you do it?’. That was pretty rude to say to your customers. If you dont want to accept Amex, then just remove it from your system. Dont treat customers like they did something wrong because you have to pay a high fee for Amex. 🙄. I dont think I would want to come back here again.

This place has the best pho soup base + they use fresh noodles, which eliminates that plastic package smell I hate from eating dry rice noodles - which I can say majority of Pho restaurants in Toronto uses, sadly. Have been a loyal customer for over 5 years. They moved in the past and is now a little further from me but I still go out of my way to drive to them just because I really can’t find any other Pho places that can replicate their soup base anywhere so far in the GTA - let alone they serve fresh noodles with it! Their soup base has herbal depths to it. It’s fragrant and bursting with flavours. Definitely come here if you’re looking for good quality and authentic Northern style Pho noodle soups.

This turned out to be a nice spot for Vietnamese food. My mom found this gem by chance recently and really enjoyed her overall experience. She decided to bring the whole family. She wasn't kidding. The food was delicious and filling, and the staff who served us are friendly and helpful. We asked one of the employees to take a picture of us and he understood the assignment. Price point is decent for what it is in this current economy, and I think it is worth with what you get. Like I said, the food is delicious and filling. Great first impression from me.

They've lost their hole-in-the-wall status! The restaurant is still great though. But it's bigger, and you can now take your friends that care more about decor than food there, and not be embarrassed! Hey, we all know people like that, let's not kid around...

Anyhoo, the restaurant is quite nice inside now, not dissimilar to I Love Pho in Mississauga. And instead of the 4 small tables they had before, there's now like a dozen, so they're better for groups now. As such, they now offer hot pots, which are a Vietnamese staple. I haven't tried them yet, but they look good.

What about the Chao Long (grilled offals and sausage congee)? That favourite is still just like I remember. It's worth coming here just to get that. You can also just have the offals and sausage alone, and eat them with herbs and vermicelli. Either way, you'll be very satisfied. Pho is still the best, too.

What about the bad? There's nothing bad really, but the new location is in the middle of nowhere, in some kinda big office building. It's not really where you'd expect to find a restaurant. It was packed when we came though, so I guess people didn't mind trekking there to get some...

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Went in for a simple bowl of pho and eneded up paying $23 for a medium bowl of pho.I got charged separately for 2 different meats rare and well done. Not only did I get overcharged but the broth was lacking flavour and the supposed rare beef was as hard as leather and the well done beef tasted like it was old. For my $23 bowl of medium pho I got a total of 5 thin slivers of hard rare beef and 3 approx 1 inch squared by quater inch well done old tasting meat. I've gotten more meat out of a small bowl of pho at other restaurants. I told the cashier about my dissatisfaction and all I got was a low key .."I'm sorry" .needless to say I will never go back .To me it's not about the money as I have paid 20 and up for a decent bowl of pho but give me what I'm paying for..I work hard for my money.dont charge for extra meat and don't give it..and make sure the quality of the meat is fresh and top notch. I hope this honest review helps improve the restaurants quality and...
